Yes but we don't have kanteChelsea use the 3 centre half and wing back system. They then have a central striker with 2 wingers who roam on either side.

Could he play in the Duffy position?
Could he play in the Duffy position?
Might be being a complete ****, but if we've got a sell on fee on him and we bought him back, would that mean we still get the sell on fee? So basically get 10% off the agreed fee
Seen a Southend fan call Leonard "the white Kante". If this is accurate, you can see Wilder's thinking.
When did Murphy develop all this pace? Must be since I last saw him. He's not slow but pacey? Not really. He's not even black.
All relative. He’s no Littlejohn/Kabba/Shelton in the pace department but is probably at least as fast, if not faster (and a better player) than Lavery who is about our paciest attacking player at the moment.
It's okay, according to Oxford fans George Baldock is the English Cafu so at least we have that.
His goal against Gillingham (I think) was an absolute belter, last minute and beat their entire defence all alone, fantastic goal that was.
To salvage a late 2-2 draw
ah of course!think it gave us a 2-1 win if its the game i was at. dont get to many living abroad but im sure it was a last minute winner after higdon had equalised at the near post, and the gills goal was a blinder
Murphy in full flight is frighteningly fast.
I can think of 2 occasions off the top of my head. Scougalls goal at Wembley when he got away from about 3 defenders. Also, his goal at Bristol City away (look how much distance he makes on his nearest defender)

That is an impressive burst of pace. Also remember Swindon at home when he sprinted onto Louis Reed's through ball and chipped the keeper.
Think it was Terry Kennedy's through ball wasn't it?
Possibly, I thought it was Reed but couldn't be certain. Seem to recall both Tel and Reed had blinders that day.
I'm sure it was Reed
Definitely Kennedy. Reed did put the cross in for the first though.
We do get 10% off...!Murphy would cost about £5m there's no chance
1200 000 ,1200 001 ,1200 002 and our final bid 1200 003 take it or leave it ...Can't wait for us to bid 1.2 million 4 times.
