I stand corrected he did sign a 3 year deal in 2014.

if it was a 2 yr deal with optional 3rd, it was probably Adkins parting shot as soon as he got word he'd been sacked

I linked to the interview in the list thread that Clough gave at the time he signed where he said it was 2 years with a year option. 3 years for an injury prone player is as stupid a deal as you can offer. Thanks Nige!

James Wallace is a young lad I feel immensely sorry for. He has a great amount of talent but his body won't stand up to the rigours of league football. His struggle for fitness is a loss for the game, not just for us.
