Just been browsing OwlsTalk before I head off to work this morning and saw a post on there: http://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=139953
To sum up this lad is doing a 220 mile bike run from Harrogate to London to raise money for cancer research UK and the british heart foundation in memory of his deceased parents, may i also add he is only 19 years old. I also now live in Harrogate and I'm pretty sure I've met the lad through friends of a friends once and I seem to remember he was incredibly polite and curteous.
He will be stopping off at as many football grounds as he can, including BDTBL and the pigsty, he's a big L**ds fan but that doesn't matter in this instance, as it's a great cause. I don't know if he'll see this but I'd like to wish him all the best for the ride. Makes you proud to be Yorkshire. I'll certainly be donated tonight at some point to the pot.
