I'm in the know ITK
Hanson done deal but not registered in time to play toneet.

Sauce - a bloke priming a door frame that he bought from Doordeals.co.uk

I just asked him for his autograph. He said come back at half time

Wasn't trying to dupe anyone stretch, personally I'm glad it's been confirmed he's signed.

Fair do's fella, my post was tongue in cheek. This is a rumours forum after all. :)

MobileBlade explains the reason for the delay

Apparently it was because Hanson had not had a heart scan for over 6 years which is against FA regulations. He had to have it done before the transfer could be registered.

No need to, you needed to be there, you also needed to read the next post to it to understand the direction the thread was taking, as the few members that were using it at the time did.
You may get down from your high horse now chap.
Oh and I have started no thread "slating utd", try reading things properly before attempting an attack in future.

He's the archetypal target man. Very tall, very strong, very aggressive. A formidable opponent in a physical struggle. He's an option that we don't have at present. He is a very powerful asset in both boxes at set pieces. The problem will arise if we start to launch it, when it's proper football that has taken us to the top of the league.

If he comes, I trust Tufty, but, needless to say he's not my cup of tea. I'd prefer him to Nick Fucking Blackman though. Dear, oh Bladey dear...

You wouldn’t welcome Nick Blackman back? For the love of Pele, why not? Goals, pace, power, dribbling ability, someone to stop Sharp taking pens. He would have been a great signing (not that it was ever realistic).

Pinchy has developed a fondness for players like Hanson and Clarke. This is not the Pinchy I knew.

When we go on about carthorses to hoof the ball up to then Hanson fits the mold. If he prefers Hanson to Blackman then I expect him to start a thread wanting the return of Nick Montgomery.

HOOOOOOOF IT!

Goals???

Deadly from the penalty spot but nowhere else. More effective out wide in my opinion, I'd definitely have him back as a wide player but Hanson is a better bet down the middle.

14 goals in 33 appearances for us and he wasn't even with us for a full season.

Remind me how many has Clarke scored this season? or has he been too busy on the treatment table "INJURED"?

At least one more than No-Goals Nick, I believe. 44 in his entire career including 12 in the Scottish Sunday League, and multiple penalty kicks. We should pair him with Matt Done.
