Photographed 1 day ago collecting his new run around in a blades garment. Surely this 100% confirms we have signed him along with Willian who i believe also wants to leave as part of the deal

First reported in shoutbox a few hours earlier:p. Not bad work really for a first post:cool:

So someone's ruined his new car then??

Just look at his face, he's arrived to collect his new motor and they've brought that out for him!!, Jesus, I'd be pissed off too!!

Was photographed in fanny brown other night and reportedly said “I’m just waiting on Wilder” when asked if he was coming back.

I think that's pretty conclusive. He went back to Chelsea BEFORE the season ended so either it's an old photo or he's signed.

In today’s market £2.5m for a promising keeper who could be a number 1 here for the best part of a decade seems like decent value to me.

Hope this one comes off - he will only improve and got better and better towards the end of the season. IMO he’s a level above Moore.

I'd be happy to sign him permanently but I'd guess it'll be another year long loan eh?

Jam tomorrow? Chelsea's valuation now, to a team still regarded as a Championship outfit, might be less than one that's secured promotion to the Premiership with all the riches that will be theirs as a member of the Prem. If's, and's, and but's I know, but a relatively small outlay now may save us a significantly larger sum a year from now.

And if we're spending that on a GK, looks like we'll smash the £4m transfer record this summer

My mate who goes to every game, and is not given to outlandish statements of any kind, reckons that Jamal could be a future England keeper. Who am I to argue, but he would need to sharpen up a bit for me. I'd pay 2.5m though, assuming that doesn't restrict us on other requirements.

He'd be an absolute bargain at that price.

Darren Randolph cost West Ham £5mil and Blackman is about a similar ability with 6 years less on him.

It would be a no brainer to take him for £2.5m because he'll only get better and increase in value. This time next year he'll be £5m.

I think that would be our biggest transfer fee spend though, and I'd be happy if it was. Spending that on anybody would be unexpected and refreshing.... as long as it's not another Brayford obviously.

As I said, I'd be happy to sign him now, I rate the lad and he's a good age, but Jam's rumoured to be sat on upwards of £20k per week at Chelski for the next three years...be great to make him permanent here for next season.

Just spitballing this so bear with me. But soon enough, the lad is going to be at a crossroads. Yes he may well be on 20k a week, and thats great. But what about when his contract ends? That 20k will drop to nothing, whoever picks him up will most likely offer him less. So, does he take that chance, or does he sign with, lets say us, on a lesser contract, develops as we all hope he will, and the seriously big bucks come later?

What I'm trying to say is take a step back to take two steps forward. Lets face it, as good as we hope he will be, I wouldn't seriously think he'll develop into a Chelsea No.1 anytime soon, whoever replaces Courtois will be already a world class keeper.

I think there are always variables - is a player content to play in the reserves, go out on loan - and whether he (or his agent) regard this as a situation they're happy to continue with.

Although there are no guarantees, the chances of Blackman making his mark at the Blades are high. We're a known quality to him, he knows that he's been given a fair shake, and as such his chances of regular first team football are high. He'd still earn a good wage here but his performances should establish him as our first choice, so presumably his contract will reflect this over time. Given Wilder's persuasiveness I'd have thought we'd stand a good chance of bringing Blackman on board.

as much as id like him back at the lane, said plenty of times he top of my transfer list, he has produced some stunning saves this season & I'm sure he would like to have permeant home instead of new home every season. 2.5m for me seems too much, historically i can see 1.5m more in our budget historically

'Jam, it's like this... we can only stretch to £15k per week now, but get us in the prem and we'll double that !
Oh and a free, unlimited supply of Absolution chucked in.'

He's moving out of his rented house in Chesterfield in the next few weeks. My mate has just met him as he was looking at the property. The idiot didn't ask him anything though

Not sure if your being sarcastic Roy, but I hope this is true....would be a great keeper for us :D

Genuinely true. Could just be he is moving back to London or could mean he's bought a house. Had a go at my mate for not asking him any questions and he said "he was just too big"

Apparently he's an untidy fucker too
