Does anyone who watches the under 23s regularly have a feeling if he would make it with us? He seems to have been around a few years now, so not sure of his age, but in that time hasn't really ever been anywhere near the first team, despite a good goalscoring record.

Wasn't he also down as being on trial when we played Sheffield FC pre season? Could that have anything to do with a move away?

The further up the leagues we are the more difficult it is to 'give the youngsters a go'. This would be a perfect opportunity for the lad to go and score some goals in division two. If he does we either bring him back into the fold or like Whiteman he goes to a division one club to see if he can cut it there.
