I don't think you can have recall clauses outside a transfer window.

No he won’t. You’re a very silly Bladey Blade. The boy may have potential but Blackman and Moore are significantly better at the moment.

No doubt Little Louis will be ruling the roost in midfield before the season’s out?

You’re correct he’s no Long or Willis in that Long has never conceded 5 in over 150 league games. Willis is irrelevant as he has never had a pro game as far as I am aware.
Eastwood will be gutted I imagine on his league debut particularly straight after Dawson from Wednsededsdedsaday did so well.
Mixed reviews on the Chessy forum from ‘send him back’ ratings of 4 to he did nothing wrong and the defence were at fault.
I think he is a decent keeper and hopefully this doesn’t knock his confidence and he goes on to have a good loan.

Some very positive comments on the Chessy Forum re Eastwood yesterday. It's no great surprise that it has taken him a couple of games to settle in as it does all young lads and more so keepers.
His first league clean sheet, as important on the pitch as it is the bedroom......

Maybe we didn't want him out on loan all season? With our injury luck this season you can't rule out both Moore and Blackman getting injured at the same time.

Yes but they may have wanted to extend it and been turned down. I only say that because I rate Eastwood more than Ramsdale (albeit only based on a couple of appearances).

Anyway, I remember Rammy's tweets last season after he'd left, he's a Blade for life so I hope he does well.

Absolutely Bush we would have been literally snookered if Moore or Blackman had an injury outside the transfer window. Whereas on the emergancy loan he could have been recalled within 7 days.

They've got 3 weeks to decide Lane Ender. I don't suppose Chelsea will be happy at all. Having said that Blackman is a small fish in the Chelsea pond.

I wouldn't be suprised if Blackman is the most expensive keeper we have ever had at the lane wage wise even if we are only paying half his wage so there may be thoughts from United about terminating the deal. Clearly I've no idea, just my ramblings.

Agreed he won’t be happy bench warming big wages for a very ordinary keeper.
Eastwood is a capable deputy for now

It's a difficult one. I presume neither Blackman or Chelsea will be happy with him being on the bench every week. I doubt we're paying much for him. He was on loan in League 1 last season.

Eastwood is fine on the bench but if Moore got injured I wouldn't want to rely on him.

We really need three keepers.

Eastwood showed against Stoke pre season what he was about
Blackman was on loan at Wycombe L1
last season where he didn’t set the world alight.
I’m not Moore’s biggest fan but he hasn’t done much wrong since his return.

Moore's the better keeper for me, but Blackman's a decent back-up. It would be dangerous to rely on Eastwood as our starting keeper for a number of games. If we lost Blackman, there's a decent argument to recall Long.

Eastwood isn’t ready yet but he will be our No1 in the future
