Let’s be honest, we’ve all played for muff before and been completely unsuccessful.I'll post the same reply to this as I did to someone on Twatter who suggested the same.
Absolutely Not!
I watched a lot of football during lockdown (probably making the most of being single for the first time in 20 years) and saw him play for Muff a few times. Let's just say he did virtually nothing and had no influence on the games at all,. I wasn't at all surprised when he was released yet again. This time though it didn't seem to be fitness related just more the drop in performance levels after years on the treatment table.
It's a real shame as when he 1st burst on the scene I thought he'd be an absolute mainstay of the England midfield for over a decade probably.
I’d take Jack Duckworth over the current crop of shite in midfield.Any one’s opinion changed now that we are getting desperate. I’d take him on a pay as you play as fleck is really starting to piss me off
jack the ripper on my list tooI’d take Jack Duckworth over the current crop of shite in midfield.
I agree. Also Sturridge needs a team. Yes they might want a wedge per week but they also want to kick a ball on a Saturday afternoon.Come on Blades at least give him a trial nothing to lose have we…we gave McGoldrick the same
I don’t think wilshere can be picky with contract from what he’s said. No optionsI agree. Also Sturridge needs a team. Yes they might want a wedge per week but they also want to kick a ball on a Saturday afternoon.
Add a 35 year old midfielder to that mix and we can't lose..I’d bring in him and try for Patrick roberts at this point.
I think we’ve got to just accept that these might be the players we get in.Add a 35 year old midfielder to that mix and we can't lose..
Worth a punt for sure. Sick of seeing other clubs getting decent loans/signings in then thinking 'oh, yea why didn't we think that'I don’t think wilshere can be picky with contract from what he’s said. No options
Desperate times. Technically gifted and will know how to play a 4-3-3 if SJ gets wingers in. Plus someone needs to give fleck some competition so he gets a kick up the arseSmacks of a wilder project player m only Mcgoldrick worked out of those...
Agreed. It’s not even like they’re signing unknown quantitys from abroad. The types of players our rivals are signing on loan is normally bread and butter for this recruitment.Worth a punt for sure. Wouldn’t be against signing him on deal until the end of the season.
Not much at all, admittedly, as he’s not really played. But if we are ‘skint’ I think a low risk outlay on a short deal may provide the club more competition in the attacking midfield department. Each to their own S64 but what have you seen from him in the last 3 years that would suggest he'd (a) be able to stay fit and (b) add value to the team? During that time he's played the grand total of 30 games and his last appearance was in May last year.
Jack Sugden always found himself in acres of space.I'd rather have Jack Sugden!
Considering Andy Carroll is reportedly earning £1k a week at Reading, this wouldn’t be the worst signing in the world on a similar deal.

There’s clearly a top player there, and Jack wouldn’t be able to rest on his laurels if his contract is done right.
