Lower championship quality imo. Too many howlers to be anything else.

And throughout all the time we had him our aims were much higher than that
 
Don't rate him at all.

Giving him the captaincy, likely based on a combination of how much shouting he does and how long he's been here for saddled us with him for much longer than he should have been here.

His attitude has always been top notch but his actual playing ability has cost us far too many times when he should have been nothing more than a bit-part player here or be captain at somewhere like Preston
 
This so the transfer I’m cheering on the most!

His time is done and I can well imagine he isn’t supportive of the new guy so better be moved on.

If he had, we may have been up now.
 
Gets my respect for wringing every last ounce out of his ability and for never hiding but I can’t overlook the fact that he turns like milk, is liable for at least two penalties a season for wrestling, can’t read a looping high ball, may as well borrow Captain Blade’s peg leg for his right side, is sufficiently bad with the ball that opposition teams are happy for him to have it and that his long throws are routinely just catching practice for the opposition goalkeeper.

So long Back Off Jack. Good luck at Watford (or wherever, so long as it’s not here).

Overall was I feel too mistake prone for where we wanted to be (essentially a yo-yo club). But he stepped in, was always fit and to be fair him has some decent games. Just an indictment for our recruitment overall that he was callled on as much as he was. More than fair championship defender though.

Hope that means Mee signs now for some veteran presence

If the only metric is:

No. Appearance / Money Spent

Then fair enough.

But having (and overly relying on) Robinson held us back for years.

I trust we are getting a fee for him. With his experience we should be looking towards a figure of around £1 million. If he goes he has to be replaced. If thats Mee, at the moment we are dragging our feet again getting him over the line, then that will be a good deal. Yet with RND going and JLT we are still short at CB should we suffer injuries. Whether Baptiste steps up remains to be seen but there is nagging feeling we have left ourselves short at CB again.

We absolutely must have Mee or another proper CB in if Robbo leaves.

I suspect Selles has Godfrey & Tanganga as potentials for RB coz Seriki is not a great defender (though a useful RW).
Selles has previously mentioned looking for CBs who can do RB.

So yes , we ARE still short at CB , in more senses than one.
6'3" Mepham was a steal at £1m and CANNOT understand why we let him go to WBA.

A fee of £1m for Robbo - the same as Mepham ?

yes suprising but tells me selles still sees godfrey as a centre back and the korean lad could still come in plus still think a lot of our fans are giving up on seriki with better quality defenders in there i think he can only improve
 
I personally don't believe that we will get a fee of £1m for Robbo, probably a free? To get him off the wage bill and out of the club.
 
The sooner he's gone the better, it's clear he doesn't want to be here.

I appreciate the pashun and effort but I always got so frustrated with his antics in our box, grappling and wrestling. Absolutely idiotic.
