Lower championship quality imo. Too many howlers to be anything else.A really handy Championship defender to have around and nowhere near as bad as some make out. I'd have been happy to have him as 3rd or 4th choice defender.
Ridiculous he played so many games for us though. He was brought in as back up and he only managed to get in the first team every season due to truly terrible recruitment.
We will not have had many better value for money signings than £500k on JLT.
Overall was I feel too mistake prone for where we wanted to be (essentially a yo-yo club). But he stepped in, was always fit and to be fair him has some decent games. Just an indictment for our recruitment overall that he was callled on as much as he was. More than fair championship defender though.
Hope that means Mee signs now for some veteran presence
Maybe, but so would Cannon. It’s not a high bar. He'll make Watford better

The lad's from Warrington. Suspect he'd not mind.Tbf Watford is a shithole…
We absolutely must have Mee or another proper CB in if Robbo leaves.I wasn't his biggest fan as numerous posts indicate. He was a full back converted into a centre half. Unfortunately there were many times he played like a full back when picked as a CB. His biggest failing was his inability to keep switched on. Failing to see what was going on behind him. It cost us many goals. He did it again against the Wall last game when he had his back to the opposition when they were attacking, a common failure. He missed the runner down his side preferring to play at statues holding his hand up for off side.
As others have said for £500k with a rumoured £250k add on no one can say we didn't get our moneys worth out of him. I never bought into the pashun culture carrier argument put forward by CW. In reality he was an average championship standard player who tried his best when wearing the shirt.
I trust we are getting a fee for him. With his experience we should be looking towards a figure of around £1 million. If he goes he has to be replaced. If thats Mee, at the moment we are dragging our feet again getting him over the line, then that will be a good deal. Yet with RND going and JLT we are still short at CB should we suffer injuries. Whether Baptiste steps up remains to be seen but there is nagging feeling we have left ourselves short at CB again.

yes suprising but tells me selles still sees godfrey as a centre back and the korean lad could still come in plus still think a lot of our fans are giving up on seriki with better quality defenders in there i think he can only improveWe absolutely must have Mee or another proper CB in if Robbo leaves.
I suspect Selles has Godfrey & Tanganga as potentials for RB coz Seriki is not a great defender (though a useful RW).
Selles has previously mentioned looking for CBs who can do RB.
So yes , we ARE still short at CB , in more senses than one.
6'3" Mepham was a steal at £1m and CANNOT understand why we let him go to WBA.
Something Anel was also guilty of.I always got so frustrated with his antics in our box, grappling and wrestling. Absolutely idiotic.
Based on what?If Robbo doesn't go , we have a toxic dressing room and little prospect of success
Logic.Based on what?
Nothing then, he might be completely happy to stay.Logic.
A very influential club captain whose pal Wilder was sacked and whose temper looks like even more of a ticking time-bomb than usual.
'Raging Bull' comes to mind.
Can't forget the plymouth away match. When the twat turned on us on the away end! Fuck him off!Nothing then, he might be completely happy to stay.
