I don't think that this would be a smart move for us. He's experienced though and we know his strengths as well as his weakness. It would allow us to play a back 3 in times of need, despite the back 4 working so much better now. I don't think he weakens the squad for the rest of the season. But it is a backwards move.

All that said, this season is already written off and for pure shits and giggles this would be enough to send this forum into meltdown. So i'm all in on this one

Well he is better than McGuiness but I would have hoped we wanted to move forwards not backwards - even for squad players on loan.

Despite our start to the season I think McGuinness is better. He has come on in the last couple of games to help see out the match. He seemed to win every header against Leicester when he came on.

FYI this job that McGuinness is doing, coming on late on it games to help see the game out is exactly what JLT was signed for when we still had JOC. Problem is Wilder and Hecky allowed JOC to become a regular when we should have signed better.

It'd be as big a waste of a loan as keeping Bindon or Godfrey.

If we're focused on not making individual errors leading to goals then he'd be the last person you'd want to bring on board.

I could just about suck it up if he was here as cover but if he comes in and and is parachuted straight into the starting line up then I don't know who is benefitting other than Robinson himself.

I really don't understand what Wilder sees in him. He can throw the ball a long way but that's as far as his redeeming qualities as a footballer go as far as I'm concerned.

I must have over eaten cheese last night and am still experiencing nightmares!

Wouldn't surprise me in the least and would confirm the managers limitations when it comes to recruitment. He just wants his culture carrier favourites around him. Lets not stop there lets get Rhian back as well because he's good for the dressing room even though he's a perennial sick note ffs!!

I hope the article is just lame speculation. If true it should hasten the need for a DOF to come in and manage recruitment. The blue noses will be pissing themselves laughing if we take the bomb scare off their hands.

It would be typical Sheffield United if we go on an unbeaten run up to the JTW pushing for the play offs only to bring back mistake ridden Jack to de rail us again. He cost us at least 10 points last season with his errors that would have given us automatic promotion. Add in the managers obsession in playing him in front of better players and its a recipe for disaster. Would be a waste of a loan.

If CW is on a mission to correct the errors of the last transfer window he would be better employed trying to get Moore back.

He'll only be on the bench
He may not even be on the bench. He's been frozen out for the last 7 matches since his disaster of a game against Dull when he got sent off for a second time. If that trend continues he'll not have played for 3 months by the time January comes

No ta. Someone on Blade Ramble made the point that we appear to have gotten our house in order in respect of discipline recently and that may not be completely unconnected from the fact that JR is no longer a "leader" at the club.

No Vini, Anel, Robbo. And Gus was injured

Just as we start gaining some momentum, fans back on side and things looking up, they really know how to try and kick us back down 😂
Who do? That made up article? Or the fans immediately turning on us because of it?

Birmingham will no doubt want rid of Robinson as they've realised that he's an unfortunate combination of a toxic character and not good enough footballer. Unfortunately for him, them and us the only team he can move to in January is United.

Wilder seems to have turned a corner and we're evolving into a more likeable team. Re-signing Robinson would put all that back at square one.
