He's a worry with the ball at his feet, apart from that he puts it all in a good example to the team, nobody bullies our Jack.Robinson frightens me for different reasons.
He's solid defensively but gets done far too easily sometimes and his challenges are far too often (for my poor heart) on the edge. He did a wild tackle first half which I'm still shocked he got away with. Could have easily been booked 3 times last night. He's a worry with the ball at his feet, apart from that he puts it all in a good example to the team, nobody bullies our Jack.
Yes he's limited but a great example to a young player trying to make his way in the game.
The Hull player should have been booked for holding .
They need to redo this ^^ with some e-Honda noises for last nights sumo throw
Was my MOM last night - just by a whisker from Egan - just what we need in the championshipHe’s reduce, not eradicated the bomb scare moments, but Anel gave the ball away in the area last night and Egan has cost us a couple this season also - part and parcel
But, we need a ‘ard cunt in the team, puts shits up the attackers when they know he’s coming at them and will go straight thro em, no fuckin about
We need the skills of Ndaiye and the pings of Norwood, but this is the championship, you need a bit of bite….
boxed in a corner of a pub fight, he’d be first on mi list
Close to the end last night, the ball looked as though it was going out in the left back position for a goal kick and JLT just watched it, seemingly unaware of the attacker who breezed past him and who got it back into the six yard box. He got away with it, but imagine the complete meltdown if that had led to the equaliser.Robinson frightens me for different reasons.
Can't disagree with your points ! he is great to have in this squad at this levelHe's solid defensively but gets done far too easily sometimes and his challenges are far too often (for my poor heart) on the edge. He's slow when receiving the ball which causes me a fair few palpitations as well. Takes too much time but doesn't see the danger.
He's fine as a stop gap playing next to Egan and Anel but I'll be glad when RND and Clark are fit.
He is underrated full stopRobinson is utterly underrated in the air. He wins headers he has no right to quite often. Put his heading ability in Berge and I reckon he could ping one in off his forehead from the halfway line.
LWB?!!!He's an hard little fucker, Robinson.
I'm sure many a striker looks at our back three, target him for the physical battle and very quickly think again when he's left a bit on them.
If we do go up, I'd keep him as backup LCB (2nd choice) and LWB (3rd).
LWB?!!!![]()
I think the criticisms are pretty fair. He treats the ball like a recently unpinned grenade at times, can get caught out etc. However, sometimes you need players like him and McBurnie to walk that tightrope, if nothing else than to get the crowd going. I quite like him when alls done. Just get the ball off him sharpish. He is underrated full stop
I'd rather keep Osborn and bring a LCB in.Behind Lowe and RND as an emergency option.
He's played there before for us. It's not something I'd want to see but when do you ever want to be going down to Option C?
I'd rather keep Osborn and bring a LCB in.
He’s a no nonsense defender which Sheffield Utd as a club will always need. If he also had a brilliant first touch he’d be playing for a top 10 club not us. I don’t know what you expect from a defender? It’s as if he doesn’t do a bit of skill he’s shit. First for foremost he’s a defender and he gives it to other players to actually do the playing 9 times out of 10.I think the criticisms are pretty fair. ah thats why weve conceded 24 goals in 28 gamesHe's solid defensively but gets done far too easily sometimes
That was atrocious. It was the fact he was beaten so easily and just wandered back like 'oh well'. Egan was having a go at him last night. I know who I'd back in a fight and it's the Irishman who played Gaelic football and hurling.Close to the end last night, the ball looked as though it was going out in the left back position for a goal kick and JLT just watched it, seemingly unaware of the attacker who breezed past him and who got it back into the six yard box. someone said on twitter he's rubbish but I love him and whilst a little harsh, that would be my thoughts too
Undr the cosh with Paddy Lacey. Can’t remember which podcast I listened to but JLT met someone in a car park for a feyt. He’s mental.
