I am in no doubt we are the other club. He fits the mould of a Wilder signing. Being a blade also fits with the claim he’s shown a desire to go to that club. And you can be as sure as eggs are eggs that Wilder has every player scouted extensively...I doubt anyone delves into a player more than he does!!

However, I also expect his sale to drag on and be this years Ryan leonard. Their chairman stubbornly refusing to budge and then later accepting a lower bid which is close to the actual fee he has in his head. (Not the fee he has for the media)

The teams rumoured in all the papers are Bristol / Derby / Forrest.

I wouldn’t mind us taking a risk on him don’t get me wrong. But for me a risk signing like that is maybe 1 year too soon. I’d rather us establish ourselves with a few proven championship players like Mcgoldrick/Waghorn/Egan etc. Build us a squad. Then next season if we have similar
Backing to go for someone like this.

Not got any issues that I have heard G&J. I live quite near Derby and have a lot of friends that have season tickets and they are all quite upbeat about the coming season.

Derby have sold some very good players for very good money over the last 3 years, they are not in the shit, far from it.

Marriott would be much more exciting than Waghorn.
Waghorn's wiki page says in 2016 he didn't score from the opening day fixture until December 16th.

May well be. Seems to be two footed, pacy, composed, and gets his shots offs quickly.

It won’t change anything. He wants to stay and fight for his place. He knows he’s not getting any younger but he’s still got the hunger to stay and stake a claim.

He will finish his career here.
 
Saw the goals v Southampton and all I can say is lump large on the saints to Finish rock bottom next season

I’ve just watched his goals last season. None look anything special but just seems to be in the right place and finish. Like him. A lot.

Got to be worth a better shout than Waghorn. Derby may be interested but they’ve surely got too many strikers toninterest a young lad? Surely the offer of first team football is worth a shout?

Be gutted if we don’t pick him up.
 
Why are people intent on spending equal to or more money on a player that has never played at championship level?

Why are people writing off Waghorn before he's kicked a ball?

Why are people saying we're paying too much, especially in today's market?

Why are people starting new threads on players when there are already 7 page threads on said players?
 
Have you watched both players enough to know which one is better?
