Grbic was fine today. I'd already left (must get train) before their consolation but I'm guessing that people saying "he got megged lol" would also be going "why didn't he make himself big" if he didn't put himself in a position to get megged. Unless I've completely misinterpreted what the goal was actually like
 
Delighted for him to have a couple of good moments for us at least and finally be part of a team that wins. Came out and swept up really well at one point and made a good save later on.

Still want him gone but the goals weren’t his fault and it was nice to see him not be the centre piece of a nightmare for a change.

Two good saves. One in the first minute low to his left, one late on to tip a shot over the bar.

He had no chance on their second. Gilchrist had come miles inside leaving their left back with the freedom of the area to smash a shot in.
 
He's a right sausage. Thank Christ Cooper has come in. I'm all for giving players confidence etc etc but sometimes they are already a lost cause and just need shipping out.
 
His best game for us - still miles off and looks lost often when the ball comes into the box and doe snot breed confidence from corners for someone of his size. Doesn't seem to communicate/defenders don't seem to listen to him if he does
 
Whilst the second goal wasn’t his fault as such, it’s one of those as a keeper you’re disappointed not to get something on it
 
Would’ve thought his wages would be an issue with keeping him as a number 2. He won’t be on peanuts considering where he came from and what division we were in at the time.

It always amazes me that a player can cancel his contract but the club cannot cancel a players contract even if he is not very good I was going to say sh..!!
 
Most Pafos paid is 2m for any player in the past 5 years.

I suppose good thing is that it was for their keeper who is being sold.

So perhaps we can get somewhere near our money back.

The fee on this one really doesn’t matter, we just need the bomb scare away from the squad.
 
When I wanted to sell my old caravan I sold it from the storage facility…I didn’t have to bring it home…I dunno, Grbic seems reminds me of an unwanted caravan…Especially now there’s a swanky new motorhome already sitting in the drive.

Pafos FC have a padel court attached to the training ground, I’ll pop down and see if T-Rex arms is there

Interesting how Pafos have grown and developed as a club in the last 10 years, a real success story which has taken advantage of the financial state of Cypriot football clubs, with so many either having financial or tax trouble.

Pafos have invested heavily in their academy and bringing in players from the likes of South America.

They won the cup the year before last, which got them into the Europa Conference league and then won the league outright so they’ll now be starting their champions league qualifiers in the next few weeks.

The link to Grbic will no doubt come from their own Croatian International Keeper who looks pretty solid in fairness, I can’t see Grbic being anything but a back up to him (not checked if he’s still here) but with such a long season ahead Pafos could be set to play a lot of games this season
 

Seriously!!!!…… if we give this ‘bombscare’ any type of 2nd chance - Selles will get some serious sh&t as soon as he makes his first error. He needs to be moved on asap ….. for both his & our benefit.

No way he can be considered as back up for Cooper.
