To liven up the lower leagues a bit, have a player lottery every year.
Every season, put all the best players in the world's names into a draw. Then randomly draw out 1 for each English league club outside the EPL. That player then has to play on loan for that club, paid for by his proper johnny big bollocks club, for a month. Maybe around Christmas. Call it the Football League Festive Silly Season.
Who wouldn't want to see Messi play for Rochdale, Ronaldo play for Gillingham or Bale play for Barnsley? Knowing our luck, we'd get Fred though.
Laugh all you want but i think it's a great idea, it just came to me when i was on the shitter! Defo eureka moment.
