Agree. But behind Donaldson instead.

Agree. But behind Donaldson instead.

Out of interest why? Leon looked back to his absolute best on Tuesday. Admittedly, there's a chance of tired legs, but given how well Leon and Brooks have played together this season, I'd rather we start with the former, and take him off later if 2 games in 4 days is too much.

Brooks is a nice problem to have, in that he is too special to leave out of the side even if others are performing. We have nobody else who can create something out of nothing like he is capable of, so for me he has to start when fit.

Partly rotation, partly because it's away from home and a game that I think will suit Donaldson. And Leon's not in scoring form right now. Also thought Donaldson and Brooks looked like a pairing in their brief time on the pitch at Sunderland.

... to unleash the wonder kid!

After a stop/start season with his illness, live on Sky, he will be absolutely bursting to go out there & perform.

Playing off Leon, just like at Swillsboro.

Let him loose, Chris.

You know it makes sense.

I'd hope Brooks comes in for Duffy, given Duffy played against QPR on Tuesday. Holmes might be back in the squad too.

Clarke and Brooks for me. One is one of the best goal scorers in the league who scored 1/4 of his goals against tonight's opposition. The other is one of the best young talents in the division, capable of creating something out of nothing and a constant menace for defences.

Sharp and Donaldson are both good options, they've done nothing particularly wrong (although CD was dreadful off the bench midweek), just the other two are better in my opinion. I hope Wilder agrees, we haven't seen that combination enough this season - now both are fit and firing I'd love to see them given a run of games together.

..it's time Clarke scored, that's fo sho!

And then we can enjoy the next few days when conversing with the locals eh Melton Blade and Welton Blade

It's tempting to start him from the start but the games are generally tight affairs until after the break. More space becomes available and it all opens up.

55 or 60 minutes bring him on with similar words that were said to him at Leeds. 'Just go out there and win the game.'

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

This. Billy is nailed on to score tonight, as Adkins looks on in horror.

Just don't think Billy is as effective away from home. I'd go with Clarke and Brooks too.

If he starts tonight, I hope Billy makes me look a prat. :)

I'd be more than happy for him to score from the bench tbh.

No no no. In my opinion a striker should make way for Brooks. He and Duffy should always be on the field together, not either or.
Remember the slide rule pass at Leeds. Duffy and Brooks would rip shitty Hull a new arsehole.
