Just thought of something positive.

If we do get to the top 6 this term, post Blackwell's removal of course, it will be one hell of a ride from here on in.

On another subject, McCabe is obviously a genius as there is a report on BBC Business about the financial growth of Chinese football. If someone could now explain how this benefits the 11 I will be watching next Saturday or in future please send me a detailed and reasoned response.

Chengdu get more money, have to spend more money to keep up, net assets stay level at best. Impact on SUFC balance sheet therefore nil. Impact on McCabe's ability to borrow more and build a car park and shopping centre in China - probably massive.

In fairness to McCabe though from my perspective, the budget he gave Robson was astounding and showed massive ambition on the football side.

The premier league is stuffed with clubs that lose lots of money but are sold for lots of money.

Chengdu are the one club that's owned by SUFC and not McCabe (though in the end he owns the lot). It was bought for about £200K. If it is sold for lots of money (due to the explosion of Chinese football) then SUFC benefits. Not next Saturday, but at some time in the future, you'll see the reward. IF it's sold for lots of money.
