Hmph..indeed....oh well, hopefully on telly for a bit o’ cash...

Crap draw. Not a glamorous tie and really difficult. At least we don't have a big game on the horizon that could get into the players heads though.
Exactly! No dreams of FA Cup glory in the players heads for this one :)

To be fair just realised it doesn't matter as it's my boys 1st birthday party. Glad it's not a must not miss game !

Hope Demarai Gray isn't playing, thought he completely tore us apart in the first half of the season. I don't think we cope well against electric pace with the likes of him and Vardy.

Mmmmmm.... only been to Leicester once and that was in the FACup in the mid 70’s and we got beat that day. I thought at the start of the season that Lord Wilder might just get revenge for some of the previous failures in the past ie Boxing Day etc. Never saw this one coming though.
Jimmy Johnstone played that day and I remember a load of scrapping on a bridge over a river near Filbert St.
Somebody could remind me of the score cos I’ve forgotten.

Think we lost 3- 0, third round from memory.
Keith Edwards debut. Chris Garland hat-trick

Not sure why everyone feels so gutted with the draw. It’s an hour on the train, we should get a good 5k allocation and we’ve got nothing to lose as they’re “expected” to beat us.

Plus we avoided the pigs! Really thought we were gonna draw them away when they came out first.

Plus I’d much prefer Leicester away than someone like Chelsea, who’d probably charge us £40+ and beat us 3-0.

Been to the shithole that was Filbert St. twice .......... 3-0 defeat in FA Cup 3rd round in the mid 70's (Keith Weller in black tights if memory serves) and the magnificent 05-05-90 'Sheffield Double'

Not the best draw but we'll give it a good go, hopefully.

Keith Weller in black tights was Leicester v Norwich in 1979

Too right Silent that was the season we went through the trap door ,Jimmy Sirrell took over and we went down with a very low points total, the start of a very bad period in our history ending up in the 4th division

Jan 3 1976.
0 3.
Crowd 24,052.
Keith Edwards debut.

Apparently Leicester Tigers are at home on the Saturday so our match is likely to be moved.

I'm quite happy. It's gonna be a twat of a journey for me!. I'll still go though if I can get a ticket!.

A lot of Moaning Mildreds tonight. Let's see:

Away tie at a good (but not amazing) Premier League side. So we aren't nailed on to get mullered like if we drew one of the big 6. We could win it. Or draw and take them back ter't Lane.

We pack out their away end with potentially the biggest visiting support of their season. We make a huge amount of noise and back our team with every kick of the ball. It'll be a grand old afternoon of football.

Only an hour from Sheffield, it'll probably be 3pm Saturday so plenty of time for boozing and general merriment. Plus, if we lose, it's straight home in under 2 hours and a fish supper and a commiseratory pint before 10pm. If we win, you'll find me drinking Shoreditch dry until the small hours.

If we do the unthinkable and win, we're in the quarters, and will almost certainly get the huge team we want. Plus it's a fairly big upset and it'll give our squad a morale boost heading into the play-off push. If we lose, as we're expected to then we shrug and move on to the league.

Will be reight good, wrong wi thee

Third time it has happened that we played the same team in both cups in a season. 1982-83 v Hull and 2002-03 v L**ds were the other two
Don't know why your contributions were not shown to me for a period of time ,I thought you had stopped giving us your historical facts which I must say are always accurate. My memory sometimes gets things wrong but can rely on you getting it spot on.nice to be viewing your contributions again Silent.

Only two of our players who played in the league cup game earlier in the season will play in the FA Cup game. We will put up a better effort this time round, no two ways about it, I’m looking forward to this one as long as they don’t make it a shit kick off time.

Spot on Damski I too am looking forward to go there and yes ! We can win

Shit draw not one of the big premiership clubs but still good enough to make our chances pretty slim. The fifth round draw has hardly done any of the smaller/non Prem clubs any favours, I think the next round will be full of teams from the premiership.

Rochdale v Newport is the dream tie but most unlikely.
