He really needs someone from above to have a word. His baffling decisions ( today's ridiculous sub for example), could cost us massively. His insistence on playing certain players, who the vast majority of fans seem to agree are just not cutting it, is getting tiresome and dangerous.
This international break would be a great time for a mentor to sit him down and re-evaluate his methods, aims and tactics. Last years brilliance is becoming a distant memory. C'mon Chris, we love you, but freshen up mate.
 



I think there are players who will benefit from having to fight for their place, namely Stevens, Baldock and Fleck.

I like Berge but I’m not sure where he plays best, for me his games vs Leeds and today were opposite ends of the spectrum, Leeds he did well I thought and we had chances, today we looked toothless.

Him and Norwood do the same job for me, but Berge is lacking that consistency that’s required and Norwood has built up.

Lunny for me doesn’t look bothered, McG and McB feeding off scraps and Burke is a threat but needs a confidence boost (very Mousset but worth out the goals).

Sharp, legend that he is, I have no idea where he fits in. Now with Brewster he’s going to be 5th choice striker? We can’t depend on his goals at this level, especially with little to no service.

All said as a unit we look deflated and devoid of ideas, to be expected on a winless run. We really need to get something from Fulham otherwise it will be a long month with the fixtures following.
 
I think Wilder could do with a chat with Sir Alex or someone, I think someone needs to challenge him sometimes.

It's perfectly normal that he is very entrenched considering the fantastic success he has brought this club.

Wilder has been brilliant for the club and so deserves some slack but recently he has completely lost the plot. Team selections, substitutions and tactics are bonkers.
 
I'm really glad for once that we have an international break. Its time for CWAK to have a real hard look at things and themselves to figure out who's doing it and who isn't.

Losing at Arsenal isn't a disgrace. Losing 7 on the bounce is though and it needs fixing quick. We looked absolutely toothless yet again and tbh, really boring to watch. If you are going to lose at least have a go at trying to win the fucking game before we inevitably go behind.
 
No manager is infallible and CW is no different. I of course still have faith he knows how to get the best out of this team, but still some decisions have been some head scratchers no doubt. Him and the players themselves need to take this break to really focus in on a more positive plan going forward.
 
He needs to remember that we are better playing positively and with no fear. That's when we at our best.

If we lose playing positive football then that a disappointing but I can take that. I can't stand watching us shuffling around, banging it long and trying to 'stay in the game' until the inevitable happens.

Were have our balls gone? Get on tbr front foot and play football United as losing fast becomes a nasty habit.
 
What’s worrying me now is he’s going on about refs mistakes when last season and before he shuck his shoulders and said we have to look at ourselves to get better

This is going to test the resolve of the board I’m hoping CWAK can sort it out because up to this point CWAK have had it all their own way regarding success as we start to run out of it then it’ll be pressure from the board if Chris doesn’t show his managerial skills I really do hope that they give him time and he works with it and doesn’t do a Kevin Keegan and throw his dummy out because things don’t go his way. To be a top manager you have to be good in turning your team around when in a bad place as well as back to back wins.
 
You tool. Don't agree because Sir Chris of Handsworth is worthy of a lifetime contract. Regardless of even if In 4 years were shaping up v Staveley MW. Wilders a great manager that's simply struggling against foreign players with more to offer. Once we're on a even keel we'll come back. The games shot and Wilders got to trust in Sheffield S1 type lads.
 
I think he needs to put the weight back on he’s not been the same since he went on the fitness campaign during lockdown
 
I thought the Burke substitution was baffling. He'd got that car crash of a footballer worried (from the 2nd minute), and after 55 minutes Bike must have thought he'd get a run at a tiring Luiz. Bringing McBurnie on moved Arsenal 20 yards up the pitch.

We are so short of confidence at the moment, we are playing within ourselves. Hopefully Brewster will lift the gloom.

Burke was knackered after 20 minutes, so maybe he had not been well this week

Really? He was on his haunches after one run, but so was the Arsenal defender. He might be tired but he looked pretty pissed off when he got subbed. Surely he'd have been ok if he felt tired and agreed with the managers decision
 
The transfer window has been a bit of a shambles quite honestly. We over paid for a keeper when we might have been better getting a stop gap like Foster for less than half the price. We needed creativity in midfield and striker upfront. We eventually got the striker but too late to play before the first season break And we haven’t addressed the creativity issue.

The rest of the arrivals look to be back up players at best including Burke who looks like a trier but hasn’t had a shot yet.

Where the blame lies for this is hard to say It’s not all on one person but that amount of money spent on a goalkeeper looks a glaring mistake.
 
We are a team in transition. Older players are being slowly replaced with younger and in some cases, better players. The transition was always going to be a difficult one. Personally, I would rather we suffer the poor results of transition at the beginning of the season where there is a chance of us settling down and recovering. We have not looked outclassed by anyone nor have we been battered, like Man City or Man U. Wilder himself will be experimenting through this transition but he is more likely to get it right than 99.9% of all other managers, in the end.
I spoke to a friend who is involved with Leeds. Their players and their manager, all said the best team they have played, so far, is us and that was after their game with Man City.
As I have said, we will be bottom after 8 and we will finish 14th.
PS: We were poor today and some of CW's decisions were a bit surprising but I trust him to get it right, in the end.

Hopefully we have got Oxford, gillingham, Wimbledon and Peterborough coming up to record 4 wins......

No I agree, we will get going, and in Fulham and West Brom there are certainly 2 teams worse than us
Add in Brighton, Burnley , Newcastle and Palace, and You can see we should be fine, just need to get a couple of wins to boost confidence

I'm sure Sir Alex made decisions based on what other football experts said to him.

Which I would suggest Wilder to do, if he isn't already.
