IF this is for real Mr McCabe is heading for his biggest cock up since he took charge at Bramall Lane .
Let's take it that HRH is genuine and wishers to be a multi million pound investor in the Blades,
money that so far, apart from the one pound there has been very little sign of yet.
How does Mr McCabe impress this guy.
With his usual flair for picking a manager, he chooses a well respected but inexperience man to put in charge on a three year contract, of course, then sits back and lets him free to up date the clubs style of football.
After three or so months of change, we have a style, that not even the junior teams can win a game playing let alone the senior team, and we're swanning around at the bottom of division three .
But. no problem, with all this money we have lets solve it by signing a prolific goal scorer, but our new manager isn't happy with just any goal scorer, no, he signs one that is going to have half the fans in an uproar and gives the local radio station the chance to improve listening figures and take the heat off a team on the other side of city by whipping the whole of south Yorkshire up into a frenzy..
I do hope this deal with HRH is water tight Kevin because there is a grave danger you are again about to snatching defeat from the jaws of victory ...

Great, a new Marlon King thread. Let's think, erm.......

"He's a Wanker"

Will that do?

:)

I'm getting a bit sick and tired of the whole "HRH hasn't splashed the cash" moaning. The transfer window has closed, the loan window has only been open for a few days and any loan we get in at this point would be going back before January. Jesus Christ, give the bloke a chance.

Agreed. What cant people get about - WE CANNOT SPEND ANY MONEHHH yet?
I dont think we would have gotten Baxter, Florent or King if we didnt have HRH on board.
I think the signings before then were pre investment (Johns etc) & by the start of next season our squad will look very different indeed.

Your name wasn't Mic in a past life was it?

If any body bothered to actually read what I've said, BEFORE going off on one, they'd know what I was on about.!!!
I just don't want another, blow all the money Robson type appointment, and that's the way it appears to be going.
There are some alarming similarity's so far and I would be really pissed off if HRH decided because of it, we just weren't worth the trouble....
I know it's not easy for you lads, but do try to keep up...:tumbleweed:

Jose Baxter
Florent Cuvelier
Harry Bunn
Marlon King
Ryan Hall

Those five names should counter argue your statement perfectly.

Hall, after I posted, loan, Bunn loan, Cuvelier free, Baxter, and King signings as is Taylor ...
But then we have sold McD.
Yes money has been spent, but it's not necessarily HRH money..

Next thing you'll be saying it's not rocket science.......

So we've gone from saying "we need to release people before others come in" to selling one player and signing 5 players. It's not difficult to see we are all if a sudden signing players rather than doing sweet FA

What a strange thread.....

I would suggest those 5 players coming in proves that there is genuine investment coming into the football club. I doubt even one of those players would have been signed had the prince not arrived.

Cuvellier was most definately not free. Plus wages
We got 250k for McD and brought Baxter and Cuvellier in I would have thought both were over 250k each
weve signed Bunn, King and Hall (on loan) since

It's like being on fantasy Island on here. show me where you get your figures from please.?

Is he for real?..
Funny thing to ask about a guy that comes from a line of the Al-Saud family that people still are wary about because they are one generation away from being desert warriors..There´s a streak of violence attached to all of Prince Masoods sons, or perhaps just a rather uncomprimising attitude in todays lingo.
If HRH tells you that there´s money available, there´s money available.

You call me a fool
You say it's a crazy scheme
This one's for real
I already bought the dream
So useless to ask me why
Throw a kiss and say goodbye
I'll make it this time
I'm ready to cross that fine line

Jose Baxter 350k according to the Mail - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2405931/Jose-Baxter-sign-Sheffield-United.html [even if it's not bang on, there's little doubt it's around that figure]

As for Cuvelier, I would suggest it's closer to 500k than 250k. He's been a class act at this level for a while now (when on loan) and would likely have interested in a few in the league above. He was certainly not a free and I don't see why anyone would think that.

We've definitely spent money from the Prince and it's daft to think we haven't. My instinct is that we wouldn't have even bought Taylor for 250k without the Saudi cash.
