yeah he went to the wrong hairdressers when they re-opened so I can see where the problem is with him....Might be going off on a tangent here, or overthinking stuff but I'm getting the impression from his media work and body language that Burke is a player who looks like at the minute has got the weight of all the world on his shoulders.
He had a couple of big money moves, moved abroad as a teenager in a massive move to RB Leipzig that didn't work, and the move back to England with WBA hasn't worked for him either, and neither has the loan moves.
I'm getting the impression that both from what I've seen so far and from tonights performance that he looks to be lacking confidence at the minute
Anyone else been thinking this?

How did Burke play tonight from those that watched the game? I didn't listen to much commentary of the match either as was out but from what I did hear Keith Edwards suggested he looked lively.
Pace and work rate to make defenders shit themselves. Wriggled out of a couple of tricky situations. But no clear attacking opportunities to really judge him properly.⚔

You wouldn't have heard much commentary anyway booker. Just some ex footballer jibbering nonsense. Truly fucking awful and time they found better than him. "I want to see" bla bla bla. . I wanted to feel like I was listening to football commentary but may as well have been in some grubby Weatherspoons listening to two senile escapees fron a care home. He is utter dogshit imho. How did Burke play tonight from those that watched the game? He did’nt get the opportunity to do much but what he did impressed me,good tight control and a good turn of pace. How did Burke play tonight from those that watched the game? Where's Dunelm then??Woodseats ends at Abbey Lane.
Morrisons is Meadowhead.

Both Red & White Lion's are top of Heeley BottomInterestingly (or not) at the other end, Chesterfield Road doesn’t start until after the New India Garden, making the Red Lion and the White Lion both London Road pubs.![]()
Played ok, made a great run down the right to the touchline and pulled a great ball across the 6 yd box for anybody to tap in, sadly as per nobody to finish. How did Burke play tonight from those that watched the game? Yeah, on London Road, which ends at the New India Garden curry house. Chesterfield Road then starts at The Crown. Both Red & White Lion's are top of Heeley Bottom
Burke sounds like he could work best in a partnership, maybe with a skilled workhorse like McBurnie.
If Brewster does come that might stall Burke’s development?
Thing I've noticed about him is he hasn't got a great shot on him, this shouldn't be a problem with the way United play and the rest of his game seems ok. If he knows his limitations (and I'm sure the boss will let him know) he will be a real asset.I'm getting the impression that both from what I've seen so far and from tonights performance that he looks to be lacking confidence at the minute

Having grown up on woodseats I confirm this to be 100% accurate. Woodseats starts after homebase and ends at abbey lane. You could even argue Woodseats starts at Scarsdale Road if you are coming up Chesterfield RoadWoodseats ends at Abbey Lane.

The lad just needs a bit of love and to feel part of a proper team environment. Let’s be honest, almost every member of our squad has had something to prove at sometime or another.Might be going off on a tangent here, or overthinking stuff but I'm getting the impression from his media work and body language that Burke is a player who looks like at the minute has got the weight of all the world on his shoulders.

No. I don't think so. I reckon it's all in your head this one
I believe many many years ago the York's / Derby's boarder was at Meersbrook, where Little London was and B&N is nowGoogleproof.
Strangely this map only notates Norton Woodseats on the other side of Chessy road.
But Pickywedia clears things up nicely since the area was snatched from the clutches of Derbyshire in 1901.

Hopefully we will get a load of 0-0 games.Burke is not a striker , he's a winger who's played RWB for the last year.
I don't know what CW plan is , but maybe all will be revealed.
Our current set of strikers will not score enough to keep us up.
The close season priority was to improve the strikers in our first 11.
It ain't happened.
Of the 2 old blokes , one's got injury prone & one's got even slower.
Moose is injured + will take even longer to get up to speed than most.
We have one striker who might be effective at this level but when he plays we try to boot it up to him as a target man which he isnt.
Our strike force carries very little goal threat.
All our PL rivals know it and are bound to play hardball if we try to get a striker off them.
We certainly need to get some bodies inIf we could get Callum O'Hare it would make a deadly partnership.
I believe Meer is from Old English meaning boundary?I believe many many years ago the York's / Derby's boarder was at Meersbrook, where Little London was and B&N is now
