Is Norwood good enough?

I'm obviously in the minority that thinks he may struggle.

Norwood is prone to having a stinker 1 in every 4, or 5 games. I would think this will increase going a level up & then you're left with a player, in one of the most important areas of the pitch, playing poorly almost half the time.

His dead balls are excellent and when he has time and space generally he can spray some lovely passes right and left. But when he isn't given time he struggles to take himself away from danger and is less effective. I worry that teams will target him next season.

Athletically he isn't outstanding either. We've seen players glide past him on a number of occasions.

Finally, if he isn't good enough the only backup we have is Lundstram. This worries me a lot.

The nagging doubt is certainly the manner in which he was unceremoniously dumped and deemed not good enough for the prem by his previous clubs. However, I don't recall any of them elaborating as to why and I certainly haven't seen anything in his play to suggest he shouldn't be anything but a success. As you say, it's the alternative to Norwood which is the major concern and it doesn't even bear thinking about.

Dispossessed in pre season game at Barnsley. Fuck him off n sign harry arter.

Lol

He will do ok I reckon.
However I'm sure Wilder will have a plan B in place.

Jean the best passer of the ball and I’m fhe champ so I’d say yes..what a stupid thread...delete

I remember a really funny thread from last season titled ‘Norgood’, suggesting he was crap. That thread was bollocks.

If Dean Henderson is so good why have Man U. farmed him out on loan. He also has no PL experience so lets have a thread about him, and Fleck, and Basham and Billy etc.

Though when we lose games, and we will, all the negative snowflakes will go into meltdown, blaming anyone and everyone.

To be United means to be behind the lads, backing them, not assassinating them on the internet.

The last part of the OP
so in Wilder do we trust?
is the best.

Will CW/AK and the rest of the backroom staff be good enough ? Lets clear the entire decks and fill all the positions with anyone with PL experience. Plenty available at Cardiff/Huddersfield/Sunderland.

A nonsense post wasting peoples lives reading and replying to it.

The only correct answer is that the proof will be in the pudding.

In my opinion its more that other managers didnt have confidence in their teams rather then Olly. He is a PL player for sure but you have to trust him and play to his strengths and as i said, managers so far decided to put trust into muscle rather then talent. Im first to admit i have no clue how you guys play, know its a 352 and saw some video/article about underlapping centerbacks but if he was your player of the season and if you dont change much in the way you play he will be more then fine.
