Impossible I'm afraid.

There's "possible" and there's "probable" and the two words mean very different things.

You are 100% correct when you say it's "impossible" (for us to be promoted today, whatever the result).

But if we win, then it becomes "Improbable" that we won't go up - regardless of what Leeds do from here on in). So, a win today is as good as being promoted. Although I suspect for many of our fans, they'll be taking the "summat bad might 'appen" approach, but maybe they'll let out a little squeal of delight over Sunday lunch tomorrow if Leeds lose at home to Villa?;)

Unfortunately, it means we can't (fully) celebrate though because there's always that chance, however 'improbable'.

I’d hate to be one of those people who are so fkn anal that they won’t be celebrating promotion tonight even if we beat Ipswich 3-0 cos we won’t be ‘officially promoted’ just in case Leeds get an aggregate score of +14 against Villa and Ipswich.

They wouldn’t need to if we got hammered at Stoke :-)

In answer to the original posters question.

Yes, yes it is.

Promotion was won today. :)
