If it's genuine..... All I say is, if you want trophies every season, if you want millions spent on players from all over the world, go and "support" Chelsea, Barcalona or Real Madrid.
And what makes you think setting up your own pub team will result in you watching tiki-taka each week, wiping the floor with other established pub teams and powering up the leagues to established professional league football?

Real supporters of this club stay with it through the good times and the bad. The supporters were here long before the current set up and will be here long after.

Be serious HB, can't you see the appeal of standing in a crowd of 156, no roof to keep the rain off, a pitch where drainage is never addressed, and the changing rooms have 3 showers and players are expected to queue? There's also the question of which fans will offer to sell those collectable programmes, that'll be a serious earner for this exciting new venture. mate no disrespect but Doyle has overseen one of the worst periods in our history. He is no good, but the poverty of our football has some of the fans thinking he is actually a good player...and it is not right, he is piss poor and one of the reasons why we have been so unsuccessful over his period at the club. No one can disagree with that, surely?

in all honesty, in years past we have had poor teams but we have also had some hope that things would improve, I thought 1990-82 and 1986-88 was as bad as it gets, but the last few years takes it to a new level. also the football is getting worse....poor management for a number of years is the problem and it is getting worse, both board and team management. Other teams like AFC and FC United have sought to rid themselves of owners whose interest goes no further than their own nose. I am just floating the idea, not for everyone I would agree, but there has to be another option than simply doing nothing. After 30 odd years I have decided I am not going again next year.

Got to say if I was filthy rich and wanted to build a football club I would do it with Sheffield FC.

I thought this forum was a place where everyone could express their opinions without it degenerating into a slagging match? Just because someone disagrees with your opinion it doesn't make them wrong, any more than you repeating yourself endlessly makes you right. Liking Doyle as a player doesn't mean that person is responsible for the current situation we find ourselves in. It merely means that someone has a different opinion to you, which as far as I am aware is still allowed on this forum. Perhaps I'm wrong, although I'm sure Linz or Foxy could put me right on this.
