It's going to be an exciting season.
That's better than the last two seasons, barring the end of last season, when we really could have nicked it against all odds.
Whisper it...I hate thinking it, but it is a bit shit or bust this season. Like the second season under blackwell after the robson experiment failed, where Burnley went up, and have only just come back down again, after a yo yo or so.
I've drawn a parallel in my mind there with slav being Bryan Robson, and Heckingbottom being Blackwell.
It's all been a little bit better this time though...two seasons in the prem. Earlier sacking of the expensive "name" manager, the assistant's remarkable revival actually getting us to the playoffs, and a great start to the new season.
So there is a chance it may be happening.
Let's hope mcburnie/berg/ndiaye/ahmedhodzic/egan don't get beastie flu.
