I'll say it again, I was more than happy with signing Ward - it made perfect sense and I said so. I'm still not sure why you think otherwise.

I'm not admitting something I know I didn't say.
I'm genuinely baffled as to why you think I did. Ward made perfect sense, cheap, young, potential etc. I've never thought anything else about his signing and wish we had a manager capable of making more forays into the lower leagues.
I'd also suggest it's generally easier to remember what you've said yourself rather than someone else. I wasn't sure if it was you who made a bit of a fool of yourself about Walker or not.

I can't remember ever saying anything other than Walker was obviously talented but he was making the same mistakes.
I never said he was garbage, useless or any of the other shite people have posted. I said he wasn't learning from his mistakes and if that didn't change he should be dropped in order to get the message through.

Bob, you know you shouldn't but you can't help yourself.
Can you explain how any of my comments about Walker amount to what you've just said?
That you ever thought he needed to be dropped is more illuminating about your appreciation of the game.
Look at our full-backs now, it's a crying shame we gave him away for £3m.
I saw him create Spurs second goal yesterday and then recollected that we'd spent the same amount on Ched ferking Evans.
What a way to run a football club.

I go back to a question you never answer, why do you always quote the maximum £3 Million for Evans and then quote to minimum amount for Walker? If your argument was so strong why would you have to do this?

You yourself have already admitted that Ched didn't cost £3 Million, I think you changed it to £2.25M but now your argument needs it it's jumped back up.

According to our chairman (he spoke to us in the past) we spent £3M of Evans, and received £3 for Walker, rising to £4M.

We dont have hindsight and none of the deals were terrible at the time - but it's very clear we've bought a pup and lost a gem, sadly.
