Seeing as though he's activated his clause, he's now a blades player. He's also on the transfer list.

Given that some of his performances improved in the final third of the season and he'll get a full preseason in him, you have to expect that such a professional will be doing all he can to stay at the lane and put the performances in.

So we can expect Hammond to be fighting to get himself off that transfer list...

Or just taking a wage for an extra year at a club that doesn't want him
