Is a draw a good result?

Of course it is!

1) Home wins and away draws equals promotion winning form. This will get us to 85 points easily.
2) Grabbing something out of nothing equals promotion winning form (United showed real desire in the last 15 minutes).
3) All clubs will raise their game against top two (they have too). QPR used the high press very well but ran out of steam.
4) We are still without our top striker (never thought I would be saying that!).
5) Still a lot of players getting back to match sharpness

Get the ball down on the floor and pass and move

If we do that we will beat anyone in this division most of the time.

Do a Neil Warnock by:
Heading a ball forward for no reason when there is 10 minutes to bring it down on your chest and play football, and we won't

Swinging a wild boot at the ball instead of controlling it, and we won't

Mindlessly flicking at the ball to help it on it's way, instead of controlling it and looking for a team mate, and we won't

People wonder why we cannot shake the Bassett and Warnock image off, why is it only us ? when these two managers have had more clubs than Jack Nicklaus

Well last night showed you why

We play 46 games. Win our home games and we get 69 points. Draw our away games and that's another 23 points. Total is 92 points. Auto form. So yes, good result.

Next game, don't care, Stoke, 3 points required really.

As Hecky has said more than once, we aren't going to win every game and there will be a few bumps in the road along the way. The aim is to average 2 points a game, which we are very close to at the moment. If we do that, then we should achieve promotion.

QPR didn't against Burnley just rolled over and had their tummy tickled.
Infact nobody seems to be raising their game against Burnley.
What worried me last night was the constant hoofing up to Sharp and giving the ball away when under no pressure.
Last night also showed we desperately need a Striker, even if McBurnie is fit for Stoke. Jebbison showed something but he's not going to get you the goals. I love Billy but I think age is catching up with him.

Brian clough once said if you win your home games and draw your away games your get promoted

To say we’re excelling that would be taking piss

My concern is the lack of composure on the ball.
We seem to often lose midfield and be outplayed in the centre circle area most recent matches.
It's always as though the opposition have an extra player in midfield.

However the good news is....as Chris Wilder used to say,
"it's not what you do in the middle third...the result is all down to what you do in the defensive and attacking thirds"

and to be fair we regularly defend very well, even when under pressure our goalie rarely has many saves to make.
Also even when playing crap, we have this knack of producing high quality and scoring from almost nothing.

Another factor that's a real positive...is that we never look an attacking threat with Baldock and Stevens down the flanks
However when Bogle and Lowe play, they give us a totally different dimension attack wise.

Those 2 have rarely played together this season, when they are at full fitness (which should be now going forward) we are a much more dangerous team.

I think thats a pretty accurate prophecy. It equals an average of 2 points per game which would give us 92 points - enough surely for auto- promo.
Obviously there are ups and downs in the season but 2 pts per game is a good target.

Even when we’re off it or shit for long periods struggling to get any rhythm we still pick points up that’s why we’re in top 2 imho

That wasn’t the type of pitch for playing the ball on the floor. There was hardly any grass at all down the flanks.
It was a bobbly, rutted mess.

Can’t win ‘em all!
