Have you checked out the General Chat section of S2?

Tbf most seem to live elsewhere in bitter exile...
although keep in mind Esa thinks anyone to the right of Trotsky is a Tory. he hasn't come to the terms with the concept of 'disaffected Labour' yet ;)

I take it "Jacob" will be fine with it if / when they use the same tactic if they need to replace Waghorn?

Ipswich and Norwich - wank clubs with wank fans surrounded by hundreds of miles of fuck all, no proper rivalries, entire counties to pick from for support and Norwich can only just better our average.

Norwich didn't better our average.

And contrary to popular belief amongst some of our own fans who've allowed themselves to be brainwashed by the S6 bullshit neither did SWFC

If Middlesbrough are interested then he'll probably go there anyway, as they're parachute.

What about Ed Balls?

Ed Balls is neither a Labour cunt or a Tory cunt. He's just a cunt.

If Middlesbrough are interested then he'll probably go there anyway, as they're parachute.

Ever been to Middlesbrough? A total shithole. And the fact that they've got parachute money means they can just go out and buy somebody else if Waghorn didn't work out.

Aye, true. :)

Possibly. But it seems our bid has been accepted, and he's having talks soon, so I guess we will see.

That Jacob is a full weight bellend constantly seeking attention.

He popped up on my feed a few weeks back saying if he got 500 retweets he'd go to the NCFC club shop, buy a shirt and burn it outside Carrow Road. He's cringeworthy and even his own lot gave him grief about that sad little stunt.

Besides, we're all fucking wankers at the lane so bollocks to him and his six fingers :D

Yes. It's just that Wilder says he won't be involved in a bidding war, and he's right not to do so.

The five millionish fee is probably about right; well it isn't, but you know what I mean. More than that is too much.

Rhodes gets plenty of stick on this forum, and on Owlstalk too, but he did hit 80 goals in four seasons at this level. He may have been a washout since he left Rovers, and Karanka and Carlos are not the least to blame in his demise, but his Championship pedigree prior to that was first rate.

He went for ninish, so that's the yardstick as far as I'm concerned for a striker who's scored 20 goals for several seasons. Waghorn has yet to do that, and if Wilder's right and they're wanting £8-10 mil, then move on.

Like Grafikhaus says, 'Boro are parachute and can take the hit if he's a flop. United have got to spend the Brooks money wisely.

I know what you mean. I take the view that the inflated fees at the "top" end of the transfer market, have had a trickle down effect, so to speak. Something is worth whatever the market says it is worth. You and I know that a lot of these fees are daft, but yet clubs seem willing to pay them.

I've been one of those that has given Rhodes stick, hands up on that one. But to be serious, he really seems to have gone off the boil and I felt that whilst he was still at Boro. As you say his past record is pretty decent.

Again I agree, even talking about market rates, £8-10 million is crazy, even if there was a chance of a decent resale value that would be high. If it was me, as high as it is, my line in the sand would be £5m.

The Waghorn bid, does have the effect of unsettling a Championship competitor - so that can't be bad whether he comes or not. Despite a good return for Ipswich after only 44 games for them.Though id much rather spend the money on an upgrade to Coutts. A Cairney or Neves type who can feed our proven goalscorers

I struggle to understand this "unsettling" concept
Are we saying that until Tufty opened his gob Waggy hadn't an inkling of our interest
I know Suffolk is is an isolated sanctuary for two thumbed wanksplats but really ?

Waghorn and Egan would mean we've pretty much spunked the lot

Is "spunked" a euphemism for something else, for example -invested

End of last season there was a general concensus we needed a keeper; centre back ; 2 forwards & (probably) L back
Henderson; Egan; Waghorn; McGoldrick & still got our pre-Brooks 'budget to squander - has the lad @ QPR signed for anyone yet ?
