UnitedBlade the race horse guy... Or alternatively the Al Maktoum who's part of the ruling/ royal family of Dubai.

If this has any basis of truth then it could be amazing for United. Though we've been down the rich Sheikh road before...

The Al Maktoum family are true visionaries and have to be admired for developing Dubai like they have. They knew what they wanted and went out and did it.

Like I say, if it's true...

You never know they might even get the sevenstone development off the ground

Mmmm. Am I the only one thinking of Christine Talbot prancing around in nothing but a Leeds shirt?

Top MILF action - is she still on it? Not seen it for a while now - I know she came back earlier in the year.

Nicola Rees off Look North for me has something about her - and not because she's just been knocked up!

Oh, it looks like the guy was Bullshitting - looked too good to be true !

Sorry, back to pure speculation

THE investor is going to be on calendar not me

He says it is Dubai International Capital and eventually they will buy out Scarborough Group.

Wouldn't the acronym be "DIC" ? - sounds like a Pork windup to me. Not the whole thing, just the consortium bit. Also I can see why we wouldn't announce anything until after the deadline, as wouldn't that mean we could be held to ransom if others knew how much was being invested ?

tis a porktalk wind up and the poster has admitted it

Allow me...

I'm not a Sheffield United fan. I did once watch my team take a spanking from Sheffield Wednesday and I've harboured bitterness against them ever since, making the Blades my default favourite club in Sheffield, but that's by the by.

The announcement is 100% genuine, was circulated this morning. You take it with however much salt you like - 'm a football fan myself and I know I appreciate it when people leak me info about my own football club on to our fan forums. After all, we eat sleep and breathe this stuff right?

Guess I'm just passing on in good faith and hoping for some good karma for my own team in return ;)

For what it's worth I have sent your administrator, Foxy, verification of the authenticity.

What you do with it and whether you want to believe it is entirely up to you :)

Peace.
I've seen United beat Spurs 6-0. Isn't that a spanking? So why only hold a grudge against the pigs? :)

Only McCabe could agree an investment deal 4 days before the transfer window closes......

I just realised something. If these eggs have been cooking since January, would DW have been made aware of it in his interviews? How long has he been sitting on the news of possible extra funds?

Was saying exactly the same thing to someone just a minute ago. Surely must have been part of the sales pitch TO him. Not a promise, but a ''Hopefully this will come off'' sort of thing.

If he knows anything about the blades he'd laugh it off like the rest of us...

Or Billy coming home??
What's this obsession with Billy coming home? He's got to drop 2 divisions from his current employer, didnt have a great time with us the last time and we have to work within a wage structure as per the football league rules.

Last week he was being talked up for champions league football, now people are optimistic that he'll lose all grasp on reality and join a struggling 3rd division club.

IF we get an investor, don't we have to show that we not only have a rich backer, but that the club is turning over the money? I know that the likes of Man Citeh have done this with huge sponsorships to show the money as turn over on the books, but to do this in the 3rd tier just seems a bit far fetched.

The main BBC site is carrying the story so the story must have some legs to it.
Winds are changing, saw a bear scatter some wolves and catch a young wild pig the other day always a good sign.

Why is it a joke? It's clear DW is being allowed funds before the deadline, isn't it? I prescribe a happy pill.
Jose Baxter plus 2 on Monday obviously not good enough for him.
Typical Blade.
