Adam Davies - Wales play Croatia and Latvia.

George Baldock - Greece play Lithuania and Gibraltar

John Egan - Rep. Of Ireland play play Latvia and France

Anel Ahmedhodzic - Bosnia play Iceland and Slovakia

Sander Berge - Norway play Spain and Georgia

James McAtee and Tommy Doyle - England U21s play Croatia and France

Iliman Ndiaye - Senegal play Mozambique twice.

I assume all of the above have (or will) be named in their squad's upcoming fixtures.

I think Enda Stevens and Ciaran Clark missed out on Irish duties due to a lack of recent game time.

Apologies if I've missed any.
It isn't ideal, I'm not sure how many players Middlesbrough have out on duties but if it's very few then it gives them a chance to re-group.

Hopefully PH takes the above into consideration when selecting a side for the FA Cup game. Need to avoid burning anybody out. All focus needs to be on the league.

That last sentence is absolute bollocks - you should hang your head in shame. If there is a chance of burnout then the players involved in internationals should withdraw from their international squads. I'm sure all the players would rather get to Wembley and get promoted than save themselves for an international match.

Anel in Bosnia squad.

Not sure about Ndiaye. I seem to remember Ball_Sup (Phil) saying that for African Cup of Nations qualifiers, countries are only able to select players from the domestic leagues?

Wasn't called up to our squad yesterday either šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

He might have to just retire

Such a shame.
At a time when the left side of our defence looks vulnerable, he doesn't seem to either (1) be available, or (2) feature in PH's thoughts.

For what it's worth, I'd put him in if he's fit. Always feel more comfortable with him in there. Organises the defence properly and is an aerial presence in both boxes.
Egan plays better with him too.

Definitely a position to properly address if we do manage to go up.

The African Nations CHAMPIONSHIP is for players playing in their Domestic Leagues.

This Domestic Break includes the qualifiers for the full blown African CUP Of Nations. Senegal will select players from leagues around the World, including English leagues.

Boro have nine players on international duty:
Zack Steffen (USA), Anfernee Dijksteel (Suriname), Paddy McNair (Northern Ireland), Marcus Forss (Finland), Riley McGree (Australia), Aaron Ramsey (England U20s), Cameron Archer (England U21s), Sonny Finch (England U18s) and Kamil Conteh (Sierra Leone).

Yesterday;
Davies on the bench for Wales
Baldock started for Greece
Egan started for Ireland

Today;
Anel starts for Bosnia
Berge brought off the bench for Norway
Ndiaye not in Senegal squad

Sorry if I've missed anyone at full internationals.

Who we got away then? Guessing the squad will be small for CW to work with for 2 weeks!

Davies
Souttar
Anel
Moore
Marsh
One

Blaster away with England development, too

Edit: Vini said he was going to Brazil, in his interview after the Watford game. Not called up, but away nonetheless

Can't believe we are still cancelling all top flight and 2nd tier games due to the international break. Surely teams should still be given the option to play - especially those unaffected by call ups.

Moore picking up a hamstring injury is inevitable.
Let's hope we've got some closed door friendlies lined up, to get 90mins game time for the likes of RND, JLT and Brewster. As they will be the cover for KM, HS and AA following their inevitable injuries on international duty.
