Pogba at the time if I recall of him leaving Old Trafford had a shocking attitude,Fergie got shut, unable to consider giving in to his demands that he played in the team

So we should have let Sinclairs agent ride roughshod over us?

I know this sits uneasily with you,but United have played a blinder on DD

What the hell are you on about? All I'm saying is that we have to deal with agents and we'd be stupid to start black listing certain agents.

Why are you trying to twist my post into it being anti United?

To save time, with you,it will be along shortly

I think he meant that if any player plays 50 games then he'll have been a success, rather than 'he'll do well to play 50 times for us' kinda thing :)
Yes, I think they would have seen him as back up to Donaldson and Clarke needing to force his way in or take advantage through injuries.
He could rack those up fairly quickly with substitute appearances. Might have been a good option from the bench initially.

And therefore prepared to pay £200k to Fleetwood if he gets there.

Really fascinating article.

Agents like Stratford (and the other one) are only after 1 thing and it's not the players future.

Glad we don't do business that way.

Glad Donaldson is basically free. Shame we didn't get a deal over the line for cole tho.

Why were they (agent) pissing about so late

Didn't read it as Stretford being the issue with Cole.

Yet to see anything approaching looking on United in a favourable light from you yet

To be honest, think what you like, I ain't going to try and change your opinion. You've made your mind up about me and that's ok with me.

Good article.

Gives a bit of an insight into the size of the pot we've got to piss in...all together now 'we ain't got a barrel of moneh...'

Maybe we'll see something from you at some point that doesn't slag off other fans, but I won't be holding my breath.

Coming from somebody who sticks up for Pigs,i am taking no notice of anything you may say

Get back to salivating over Cheds injury,Pig Apologist

Got to say I can't see why Sinclair couldn't have put his foot down a bit more. It's not like he's a dumbass:

" While with West Brom, he had attended Sandwell Academy;[7][8] as customary with Liverpool's academy recruits, he continued his education at Rainhill High School in St Helens.[9] He got good grades in his GCSEs,[6] and went on to study for an A level in business studies.[10] "

In the end it seems like he acted as a slave to his agent.

Just how do agents manage to brainwash these young players?

Sinclair needs to be playing and he wanted the move. How he can just shrug his shoulders and get straight on the train back I don't know.

Cheers mate. Really interesting. Wilder looked a bit crestfallen at the end. Mental when the players want to come, the players club want him to come and everything is sorted between the people that actually matter only for a greedy twat to selfishly ruin his clients ambitions.

I'm not having a go at you personally Danny04 but I think you would agree that's an excellent article in The Bleacher Report.

Exactly the type of article and insight we would hope to see from the local newspaper in fact.

Has The Star ever been given that type of access behind the scenes before?
Have they ever asked for it?
If they have, where were the insightful and fact-packed articles?
If they haven't asked for it, do you think they might be missing a trick?

You would think that Sinclair needs to be playing but his agent will probably say "stay with me and I'll make you rich" and at the moment he's been true to his word because his contract at Watford means he's now set up for live and doesn't need to play a single match.

The motivation for many youngsters seems to be fortune/ money above actually playing the game they suppose to love.

A lot of the usual local press haven't made any reference to it via social media, which is surprisingly. I suspect they are all a bit pissed off not to have got the level of access. For me it's one of the most interesting bits of media coverage we've had for quite some time.

I think we all realise agents have a lot of influence nowadays, but not to this extent. It is totally mind-boggling that, as Wilder says, Sinclair is going to be playing in front of 400 next week instead of 40,000 at Sunderland all because his agent wanted his fee doubling on the day he was meant to sign. Sinclair was sat in the bloody train station waiting for permission to sign for us. Maybe going ahead and signing with us anyway would have broken a contract he has with his agent? God knows.

I do not think the Star would be interested doing something like this about United,Wednesday on the other hand

Coles agent doesn't seem much different was quite surprised that we heard about his availability from his dad

Andy Cole had the same agent and I maý be wrong but think he does some work for the group. I know someone who had Stretford as their agent and met him a few times. Decent enough bloke at face value but when he got Rooney on his books all his own focus went in that direction.

I believe we do have money available but I think it was simply down to Wilder / the team around him refusing to pay that figure if he doesn't think it was value for money. If it was worth the money then he would have spent it.

I'd like to believe that. I hope it's true.

I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole. Last season he rang Birmingham to tell them he couldn't get to training because the electronic gates to his mansion wouldn't open & he was trapped. Unbelievable. No thanks.

I think I can see where you're coming from in an attitude perspective but seriously what would you expect him to do, climb over the high iron gates and risk injuring his ankle in the process?

The report is great but the video is even better.

Watching Big Ben and the new Chief arrive - The Beard leaving - and Tufty playing pool and joking about his yellow teeth. Actually listening to him talking to Sinclair on the phone.

Magic.

Stuff like this enables people to see exactly how the Club works and destroys at a stroke so much of the made-up BS that appears on here.

Keep it coming.

Becoming unavailable after unnecessarily injuring himself, as a fan or manager that is marvellous news for your £54k a week striker hahaha!

Not turning up for work because of something so trivial as a faulty gate, would your employer gladly accept that excuse,or would he expect you to do something about it?
