Yours might have…but not every game is the same.Doubt that.
Snakes and ladders has a ladder climbing up from square one to square 38, not a snake leading down to it.
Yes Jim, I remember that, it was interesting at the time and the poster said he did lots of props and was looking at sneaking stuff into future projects. I seem to remember him saying he’d done it before but remember being fascinated by it at the time.Does anyone remember the story of the Batman Begins one? I'm certain someone on here talked about being in props / costumes and sneaking stuff into movies. Then again I might have just completely made that up.
Knew most of them, but the one about fielding a full XI of full England internationals is new to me.
Always nice to see other fans appreciate the enormous amount of history at our club
EDIT: I knew the origins of "back to square one" were related to radio football commentary, but never knew that we were involved in the first match to use it!
Can quite honestly say I couldn’t care less whether it’s true or not, I thought I was just passing on some interesting research done by a Bristol City fan.Yours might have…but not every game is the same.
Hopscotch is another possibility, of course.

How did the phrase "back at Square One" originate?
A line from the TV series Monk (2002–2009): Welcome to square one. Pop culture has many instances of "Square One". It means "right where we started", emphasising comedically t...english.stackexchange.com
His uncle was Pedro Verde hence his nephew's "support" for the Blades and his boyhood wish to play for us.
Reporting in.The 2005 film Batman Begins features a child wearing a 1990s Blades shirt.
Flea:I've said this before somewhere on another thread but Flea is not a Blades supporter as such. The connection has been made because he played 'The Greasy Chip Butty' song at a gig (or several). The reason for that is because he is mates with Antony Genn of The Hours and formerly of Pulp and Genn IS a Blade who told Flea about the song, and he played it for Genn.
I believe we still hold the title " Champions of Britain "only team to win the british championship beating Celtic 2-1 over 2 legs

Ants was a very good friend of mine ,I went out with his sister for a few years. He was actually a very good player himself until he chucked himself off Arundel gate.Again, I think this stems from his friendship with Genn. If you search for Antony Genn on YouTube, you'll find an interview with him about doing the music for Peaky Blinders (mates with Cillian Murphy too) and he gives a shout out to the Blades. He was in my class at school and was a really good footballer himself.
Happy to claim Flea though!
Did anyone see Veron on the Kop yesterday?
Palin actually supports the Massive but other than that some great facts, some of which I wasn't aware of.
I'm in yourcamp FF.Doubt that.

I was in his class at school. I made him a Beatles tape cassette (ha, remember that!) of stuff from the later albums that he'd never heard before, just as he was starting to play guitar, and then I met up with him some years ago when The Hours played The Leadmill and he was telling all his band mates that I 'gave him' The Beatles. I kept in touch via Facebook messenger for a while and apparently he recounted this story to Damien Hirst in a car while driving to a party hosted by P Diddy..... bizarre!Ants was a very good friend of mine ,I went out with his sister for a few years. His whole family are Blades ,his uncle John who many will know on here I suspect died recently.
I went out with Joanne ,Steve was mad ,really good musician though and had a really good band called Mr morality. They got their ability from their Dad who was a top jazz drummerI was in his class at school. Anyway he told me he had got Flea into the Blades and to play the GCBS so that's the connection.
I can't remember his sisters name but remember his brother Steve.
Films and TV drama involving the Blades
The Full Monty
Sean Bean's character as a priest in Broken was a Blade
Steve was a good mate of mine untill I dropped out, Jo worked with my wife for many years at the body shop and Ants used to sleep on our sofa.I went out with Joanne ,Steve was mad ,really good musician though and had a really good band called Mr morality. It was a football match in 1878Didn’t Bramall Lane host the first ever night match, under floodlights? Maybe involving a baseball game?
I thought it stemmed from him being told about the Battle of Bramall Lane and being impressed by our "battling" qualities?Flea does on occasion tweet support for us though. I think he probably barely spares us a thought, but occasionally sees a result and is pleased if we've won, much like many other "celebrity" fans (especially american ones).
I'm going to continue to claim him as a Blade though cos I fucking love RHCP and he's a phenomenal bass player.

I remember watching a programme in geography, 94 ish where he went round the Pacific rim. He said he supports united but looks out for wednesday and watches them alsoThis seems to suggest he’s more of a United fan than a Wednesday fan but that he’s fond of both
