Good evening all,
Just a quick message to mention that the Inter Blades may be on the look out for a few more players, although we're preferably looking for people to improve the squad and be challenging for a "first eleven" slot.
In previous seasons the Inter Blades have pretty much shared "pitch time" around so that everyone gets a good run, however, we've decided to take it a bit more seriously this season as most of the teams in the league are doing the same these days, and the quality of the players representing the team they support has improved vastly over the last few seasons.
I personally have stepped down from the match day management this season due to having a young family and not being able to commit the time on Saturday mornings, although I still sort everything else out from behind my PC/Phone. I've brought in a new experienced management team to oversea the transformation into a more competitive team, so everyone is now playing for their place and the best performing players will stay on the pitch rather than the normal vast amounts of multi-rotational substitutions.
The squad has slimmed down over the summer, losing a few players for various reasons, and not all of our squad are able to play every match due to family and work commitments etc. so it would be nice to bring in a few more Blades that are also decent footballers to challenge those that currently lay claim to shirts 1-11.

P.S. for those obsessed with the Blades kit... we have just ordered a shiny new red and white striped Nike kit
