So your weighty evidence to bring him back is, the Burton fans love him, and DC's opinion formed after watching 2 games
What’s your evidence for not bringing him back? 😂 we have 2 fully fit strikers, they’re 34 and 35 respectively

And yes, I reckon Burtons fans ‘rave reviews’ (your words not mine) are the one set of opinions we should be taking above all else yes. Funnily enough.

Hecky said that it was under discussion before yesterday's game,so I would have thought he will be back as soon as he knows if Brewster will be out for weeks, plus if it was under discussion and they decided to bring him back even if Brewster was ok,we are still short of a forward now he's injured.

The evidence for either is trusting Hecky and Lester, the danger in bringing him back, is the weight of expectations, something you have proved, up until now Hecky hasn't given any thought to bringing him back, despite the obvious to any and everyone that we would be looking to offload at least 2 strikers, if a very unlikely bid came in, move on another.

That bid, hardly surprisingly hasn't come in, I would suggest that any of the remaining strikers getting injured was factored in, before yesterday's game.

Hecky is starting to be a bit ruthless which is good to see. Getting rid of that waste of space Mousset is a good start. Told him he’s too fat but still not fit enough. Good on you Hecky, sends a message out that no less than 100% effort and taking the piss will not be tolerated.

So what are your views if he is recalled then?

I don't have a problem if he is recalled, simply trying to point out, his form at Burton won't guarantee a start in front if McB or McG
You didn’t say it wouldn’t guarantee, you said he wouldn’t be getting a place on the bench ahead of them categorically.

Read that specific comment back, in reply to your question.
His form at Burton has NOT been enough to get him in front of MCB or McG on the bench, if it has then why wasn't he brought back earlier, knowing Mousset, Burke would be moved out at the first opportunity and McB has suffered from Covid, Brewster was back from injury and Billy/ McG not getting any younger

Theee was absolutely no guarantees we could get shut of Moose and Burke, we didn’t know Brewster would have a reoccurrence of his hamstring injury.

It's hardly been a secret we were looking to off load players, as for injuries Brewster has had injuries before, its well documented they thought he would be out longer, and healed faster than they thought after his hamstring injury against Brustol City.
Do you honestly think the deals for Mousse and Burke came out if thin air, that Hecky didn't have a clue until Burke was half way down the M1 to Millwall, or Mousse turned up for training with an Italian phrase book ?

McBurnie had 11 mins plus 2 mins to show he is back from illness to stake his place and looked like he couldnt be bothered.
Absolute rubbish. At the ground it was clear he was trying, chasing lost causes, tackling and a couple of great pieces of hold up play.
By all means question his quality, but dont follow the stereotype by claiming he didnt try yesterday when he came on.

That's right, Jebbison scores goals. Only club I know has 2 years in prem and 1st choice strikers are from 2019 when they were on their last legs then. Sometimes I think the blunts is quite an apt nickname when I read stuff like this.

As for Lys, should have been sacked after the car crash. Club should set an exampe.
In what job is crashing a car a sackable offence ?

Burke and Moose were on wages well above their talent and/or attitude and fitness. There was no guarantee either would be leaving this month.

Anyway, reports he’s being recalled, that’s that one done. You can shut up talking bollocks and digging yourself a weird Jebbison shaped hole now 👍🏼

How do you know if we bring him back he’ll spend most of his time on the bench? That’s as much conjecture as the points other people are making that you’re trying to argue about.
Because if he was able to push aside Sharp, Didsy, Brewster and McB now and start games he wouldn’t have been out on loan in the first place!

We thought he’d benefit from a loan to the league below when we had 7 other strikers, number of which we couldn’t shift despite wanting to.

Bit different now. Half a season’s experience under his belt too.

JLT ends tomorrow and we now need Striker cover, still need a LCB I dont think this time it will be left to the wire before we get someone. More likely Jebbo confirmed as back and thats your lot. Sad state of affairs. Anyway lets get 6 passed Birmingham.

I've just been watching a video of Jebbo's goals for Burton. Apologies if it's been mentioned elsewhere, but the boy scores goals with both feet. That's a useful attribute for a striker.

Some people have said he will struggle against better defenders in the Championship. To balance that, he will probably benefit from better service.
