Will the players go again after that interview? Think it was a mistake by Wilder.

Tbh ...... I think they deserved it ...... and more .. o_O

They were fu**ing gash and they needed to be told it ........ and I don't care if it was in public ....... the bottleless display was in public to their bollocking should be

I would like to see Billy, as captain, issue an unequivocal apology to the supporters who paid to watch that shit !!

We were shit so we say we were shit and deserved to lose, we say it as we see it. Or we can delude ourselves like the S6 shower today and kid ourselves that they were unlucky to lose 4-2 as they played Villa off the park and the ref was bent. You can keep your glass half full/empty bollocks, I'm a Blade and I know which version of events I prefer.

Unlike the rest of us, Wilder had the power to change something, but despite the midfield being unable to string one pass together and it being obvious that we needed to create a link to the strikers, he stuck with the same team at half time and only introduced Duffy long after we were losing and Hull kept more players back. Him having a go at the players is fine, but he has to take some responsibility for it too, not just have a pathetic strop that we're not going to make the top six.
And we created loads of chances when Duffy came on.

Fine lines as shown by the highlights. If only Billy had slipped it across for an open goal instead of shooting, or if Leonard had noticed Baldock was through on goal to his right....just saying it wasn’t like we didn’t have chances

I think we have to face reality which is that essentially we're a team assembled from the lower leagues, with an aging journeyman forward line.

We have to be bang on it every game in this division otherwise we'll get beat. The play off and promotion teams have the quality to get results when playing badly, we don't.

Say and think what you like about Hull, but they've got players, who if coached by Wilder and Knill would make our team better - Dicko is the one who immediately springs to mind.

So everyone needs to calm down. Enjoy the ride under Wilder and just back the team rain or shine.

To answer the OP - it's down to lack of quality not application or endeavour.

It's been clear for weeks now what the problem is.

Fortunately, 6th place is still up for grabs for half a dozen teams.

It's over to CW & AK to find a solution.

Good morning.
Here I sit in the works canteen drinking my first of many strong coffees this morning pondering over last night's effort and reading some of the utter, utter over reactive gash on here.
I for one was pissed off last night and would put it down as the worst 90 minutes with tufty at the helm.
But 12 hours after, and a few hours kip has mellowed the anger.
7th in the league and 15 points ahead of those relegation threatened bastards at s6.
I'm still appeh. Suck it up.
Utb.
You're right in the cold light of day it's bastard freezing out there and it was even colder at Hull last night and who gives a flying one about S6 they'll finish about 18th and us 10th so we'll all start off the same next season.

Lovely sunny morning as I look out over Hull Marina from my hotel room.

I'm going to make the most of it and go to Brid for the day.

I've already forgotten last night, it was just one bad day at the office, and there haven't been many recently.

Cor you know how to live mate!

I can see now the superyachts bobbing gently on the Humber, with all the multi millionaires, super models and oligarchs rising early to get the most out of the February Brid experience...

It was a damn sight more enjoyable than Friday night.

Anyway, homeward bound now.

Only wasted a couple of hours of my weekend away.

Can't do Reading so roll on Fulham.

Disapointong thing for me is when we brought the new players in i expected to see more tactical changes during games

But we seem to have just got into a bit of a spin the wheel with the personel rigidly Into the exact same system

We've been tactically matched by every team we've played since around November time and up to the transfer window I thought fair enough we dont really have the personnel to change it but in January with the signings we made it looked to me like the coaching staff had recognised we needed to adapt our formation and tactics during games and brought in players to enable us to do that

Hasn't happened though

We have massively exceeded expectation that’s for sure. But I’m starting to find the mind set of “it’s ok as long as we are above them lot” quite tiring.
