Lots of other clubs too but if the season cannot go on null and void is looking most likely.

The problem with this is the timing of the peak and the decline rate following that. This could easily be September before football can resume and that's not just about the fans returning that is the players, managers, coaches, staff, coach driver, kit man, cleaners etc.

I think this group was overlooked and football was going to go ahead until Arteta and Odoi tested positive. If there is still a chance anyone involved on matchday could catch and pass the virus on there is no way games will go ahead, fans or no fans.
 
I said this a few days back when people were saying "typical United, best season in years then this happens"

Can you imagine if last season had been postponed? Even if it started up again we would have lost that incredible momentum we had built up from Christmas

Obviously there are bigger things to muse on at the moment but in terms of football this could have come at a much worse time for us

Everybody involved could be tested before and after every game. With only the essential staff involved.

And in any case there should be a loud and clear message to distance themselves from any already doomed vulnerable people.

The tests take 24-48 hours to complete. Everyone involved with matchday input would have to be quarantined until the season it finished.

How so? We are on the brink of qualifying for European football for the first time in our history.

Me saying that probably upsets you more than the torture all those different animals endure every day over there doesn't it? It needs addressing. It's fucked up. They are fucked up. Now they've fucked us all maybe there's a small chance it will be addressed.

We are one of a congested pack of about 7 teams that could qualify for Europe. We aren't in a straight 3 way race for something has completely changed the club.

I get ya point but I have seen us promoted to the PL before. Nobody on here has seen us play in Europe before. We have been around 5th - 7th for months and we have a game in hand. We are to play our rivals mainly at home, that for me is something new and really exciting.

I understand what you are saying but I'd have been much more pissed off if last season has been suspended at this stage. We are/were far from guaranteed anything this season and are/were still outsiders for Europe. Last season we had a 2 in 3 chance of getting promoted.

It's in reference to whatever it is in their brains that desensitises them from the horrific things that happen there even in the open street. If observing this apparent inherently inhumane mindset makes me a 'racist' in the eyes of the precious angels then I couldn't care less.
