To be fair to JOC, he sustained a terrible injury. He didn't fuck off and leave us in the lurch 11 days before the PL season starts, knowingly leaving us with minimal creativity and flair up front.
Yeah it was very unfortunate what happened to him, my only gripe is I'm sick of that bloody song especially after 3 years since he kicked a ball.

It's respect to him and towards the end of the season he was in the stands to hear it. He didn't ask to be injured and it shows the fanbase still care about him.

Although I won't be joining in with any chanting about Illy this coming season.

It is the manner in which he has left that has made me change my view 360 on Ndiaye.

The lack of respect he had for our club and fans to up sticks and leave like he did was a disgrace.

He never gave our fans an inkling that he was leaving he played for us at Derby and didn't indicate in anyway that he was off.

He has made our club look stupid, yesterday there was posts all over various social media platforms mocking us for Ndiaye doing what he did leaving our management team high and dry.

I don't understand those fawning over someone that has been so disrespectful to our club and fans.

His words mean nothing to me and that is coming from someone who was a huge fan of Ndiaye I never expected it from him and never felt as deflated as I do about the way he has treated our club and fans.

I get that and he should’ve handled it better. Ultimately football is a business and shit happens.

I just don’t expect our club to embarrass themselves on social media.

SUFC using the word forced is an indication of how the Club feel they have been played over the last few weeks. As others have said to give the impression Ndiaye was staying and then pull out at the 11th hour does leave a bitter taste in the mouth. Having said that I take the view its the work of the agent and possibly others who have forced themselves the change of heart and not necessarily the player. It seems they are the ones who have pulled the strings negotiated the contract and probably also written the impersonal leaving statement.

It has to be a concern for the Club moving forward that the same agency represent Traore. Hopefully lessons will be learnt and we will avoid being played again.

There's a respectful and dignified way to leave a club and this isn't it. That statement from Ili is not enough to change my opinion.

He's flip flopped all summer and messed us about to the point that we've now got to scramble for a contingency plan the week before the start of the season when it sounds like he'd agreed a new contract with us in principle only to change his mind at the 11th hour. Pathetic from Ndiaye I'm afraid and I thought he was better than that.

It's obviously a terrible move for our club, but I'm not sure it's a great move for Ndiaye either - fancy leaving a club about to enter the best league in the world where the whole team would be built around your strengths and set up for you to succeed. Instead signing for a club in a joke of a league that play second fiddle to basket case PSG. If he'd stayed a season, shown his ability at the highest level and helped us to survival he would have got a move to a much better club and left with every Blades' blessing.
It makes zero sense that he has moved to Marseille now he could go at any time in his career.

And I agree wholeheartedly that he could have stayed till end of the season and gone with the club and fans blessing and potentially got a move to one of the best teams in the world.

Marseille aren't going anywhere but this move could be damaging to his career.

I hope that if we do stay up and become established in this league and move forward that we do not welcome him back if it doesn't work out at Marseille are because I dont ever want to see him back at the lane ever again after the way he has acted.

The way he has left and the timing and the fact he has caused embarrassment to our club and messed our management team around that is the problem.

And those that are just glossing over this clearly do not have any standards about how players should act.

Its also a promotion song and we still sing Barrel of money and make reference to Woodward and Currie for the same reason. Hopefully we won't be singing either for a few years.

Anyone who chants for Ndiaye after this clearly have no self respect and sense of standards.

If he had left in the correct manner we would all be wishing him well but there is a way to leave and that was not it.

Sabella was a very skilful player but mostly ineffective, not least because he played in a poor Blades team on a big downswing that ended in the old Division 4.

Exactly all these people falling over themsleves to wish him luck pass me the sick bucket 🤮
“Star boy” - Fucking rat boy more like.

Actions speak louder than words (especially those you’ve got your agent or ChatGPT to write) and he’s fucked us. If you can’t get annoyed at something like this then when can you.

Wonder what Billy thinks about swallowing his pride and doing that video.

Hope the next time I hear his name it’s floating over Marseille being dumped out the Champions league or being steam rollered by PSG

Hecky seems a bit pissed at PA judging by his comment on "managing the Exit" although I could be misreading it

Or course he is PA Knew full well Ndiaye wouldn't sign a new contract hence why Marseille were given permission to speak to Ndiaye he clearly wasn't tapped up it looks to me like they opened the door.

Absolutely bang on. He can hide behind it being his reps who brokered the deal, but they work for him at the end of the day. The stringing on of us giving us false hope, and ultimately delaying the process of identifying replacements, will never sit well with me. In a way I am sort of glad it has played out this way as I don't feel as bad about the whole saga as transfers in the past.

It’s like getting dumped and thanking her on social media for being kind enough to go out with you.

Have some fucking pride in the club!
Some might take that view. I’d say it’s more like someone worked for you for two years, did a fantastic job, worked really hard, made millions for you, then went to work for someone else. I can see why some would want to say thank you.

Would be Intersting to see if there's a sell on clause, he will go for 50m plus in a couple of years

Exactly If he had gone months ago that gives us time to identify and sign replacements, if he wanted to leave he should have gone earlier this summer.

I don’t think you are that was very much an I’m not interest in the PR type comment

You missed the bit about the person saying they were staying, being involved in the promoting of it, then telling you he's fcking off somewhere else. Its called a cunnts trick.

Considering he only scored 22 goals for us in 4 years, in a mediocre Championship (we didn't exactly piss it did we in the end), if we did get 15-17mil that's about right imo. Nobody knows what kind of clauses we got either.

What did he cost?

Hecky has just said he will get all the money to strengthen the team.

Comes as zero consolation. He can't come close to replacing the player we have lost.

GL to Ili, cannot blame the player for wanting to move to his boyhood club. Would have liked it to be next summer, the only reason why it isn't next summer is because the club buckled under pressure, effectively doing what your average gambler does when he presses the cash out button half way through an acca. To say I'm disappointed at the board is an understatement
