Yeah especially at 3pm on a Saturday, i want to be out of the house.

My mum and aunties though, as soon as the weather turns, no longer want to go and will sit and listen at home instead. They'd pay extra to watch on TV or online.

If the premier league and football league want to increase attendances, stop showing games on Sundays, early or late on a Sat and friday nights.

I think TV channels need to be showing games at 3pm on a saturday as moving games constantly is annoying
The worry isn't about Blades or Man U fans not turning up - its worry about a Hartlepool or Exeter fan snuggling up in front of his telly to watch Man U v Chelsea at 3pm on a wet, windy Saturday instead of setting out in his winter woollies to watch his own, much less glamorous team play another equally non-glamorous team and paying at the turn-stile for the privilege :(

This is for all Blades fans in Canada.
Where can we watch the games blacked out by Sky TV?
Bein Sports Connect have got the contract for USA and Canada with the football league (or EFL for over there) from this season. Some games on are on the main channel from what I can see, others are on Bein Sports 3.

I had a Roku box in the States and subscribed to one of the IPTV channels for $20 a month, that included Sky. It seems to have been taken offline now though so I'm looking for an alternative.

I'll probably pay on a game-by-game basis for the iFollow games, if that is possible.

You can pay game by game with iFollow. (£5 / €6 )

SO are you suggesting that fans of those team are more fickle than Blades or Man U fans and get put off by a little cold and rain because they're less glamorous?

Knowing a few fans of lower league sides, i have never found that to be the case....

Has anyone managed to sign up for iFollow, either by using a VPN or by actually being outside the UK?

I've just given it a whirl, and I only get the £45 "Season pass" option that doesn't give live streaming... admittedly that's only through a VPN addin for Chrome. I shall give it a proper try tonight when i get in and can connect to my proper VPN router.

Unfortunately Bein Sports hold the contract for New Zealand but do not have facilities to show games. They have gone into partnership with Sky who do not offer games to non Sky customers. A right royal rip off.

Ive signed up, but I live in Spain so not really a true test.... it works fine tho, was offered and paid the correct amount and will see how it works on Saturday / start my illegal sheffield united streaming service.

Got it working last night, that being said I was using a proper VPN client on my machine located in France and could purchase match passes for €6.

Will be doing this for the away games I cannot attend

Hope that's the case, but when your attendances are low anyway, even one or two waverers can make things more difficult than they already are.

Is that for this season? Football League have just redone all their international contracts for this season. Some are still being signed up this week.

EDIT: You can subscribe to their internet only channel (which is Bein Sports Connect) which shows the Sky and International Coverage games. Not sure of cost!

So if you pay for just a single game, can you watch it after the event?

True, my mate used to go to Kidderminster Harriers every week to see his mates, have a pint or two and have a cottage pie.

Thanks chaps. I will check it when i get on the proper client at home tonight.

Worth noting that there's a list of matches which are excluded because they've been selected for TV or some other reason, and the away game against the Smoggies is one of them. In case you'd not seen it.

yeah i know, obviously ill not get to see those games because i refuse to watch illegal streams, honest guv

So here's a question: has anybody tried Airplaying something to Apple TV using the app? I just checked it earlier, and it didn't work. Sent sound but no vision. I wonder if there is some kind of blocking in operation. I was able to Airplay from the website via my laptop - anyone know if the games are available through the site, or is it only on the app?

Anybody know if you can use this on a VPN for the app to watch games in UK?

Asking for a friend before my "friend" pays money for it

I think it's pretty clear that with a bit of tech nouse and some friendly friends there'll be ways to see coverage for free.

However, I suspect those free options will be less than optimum, for the most part. As an example of someone doing a wonderful thing, but without the wizz-bang of some decent PC software, I watched a phone stream of a spanish stream for the Malaga game the other week. As in, someone was streaming the game on their phone by filming their pc screen. An amazing gesture and tbf, the only way l could see the match without dealing with the ballache my self, but a perfect example of 'where there's s a will, there's a way' and an end user (me) being more than happy.

I'm based in the Isle of Man. Non EU for whatever that will mean after March 2019. Can I sign up for the £110.00 season of home games rather than trawl the T&C's?

I didn't attempt this last night, due to having boiler issues which took up my attention.

I'll probably try it for the Cardiff game, which is the first away game that you'll be able to get on iFollow anyway.
