Eyup Bladesmen,

Is anyone else still having problems logging into iFollow? I've not logged in since the transition from Bladesplayer, I'm on an annual subscription which shouldn't have run out yet (I know it won't automatically renew but should still be able to access at this point).

When I click login it tells me the email or password is not valid, when I try to reset password it tells me my email isn't valid.

Any help much appreciated.

I had similar problems weeks ago but overcame it by paying the fee and cancelling the old one to B/P
Seemed to me to be the quickest and easiest option.

Theres already some nobs who are blatently advertising that they will be streaming to people over twitch and youtube etc. Not only are they taking the piss and money away from the club but they are gonna ruin it for everybody else when it goes tits up.

Twitch will shut down the streams within minutes, YouTube pretty quickly too. These people don't have proper brains.... If it was that easy, YouTube and twitch would be absolutely teeming every week with foreign streams of the premier league games....

Youtube and Twitch might not be teaming with Prem games every week but other areas of the internet are. I expect that all of these iFollow games will be the same rightly or wrongly.

Not necessarily, due to the fact that they aren't available anywhere else. The first game of the season, for example, will only be made available to paying Blades and Brentford fans, probably less than 1000. Unless the iFeed streams are also sold to foreign channels I can't see these feeds being widely available on dodgy streaming sites.

To be honest, as an exile I'd pay (and have paid) significantly more than £110 to see just one Blades' game, never mind a whole season's worth. As I'm now a UK based exile, getting to a single home game still costs over that if you include fuel, hotel etc. Having access to iFollow via a VPN won't prevent me going to as many home games or away games as I can, you can't beat a day out at BDTBL or a Blades' away party. So if I decide to use a VPN to see the rest of the games, and pay my £110 for the privilege, it's money to the club it wouldn't otherwise have. So I don't feel guilty bending the rules by watching via a VPN. It's £110 iFollow wouldn't otherwise have (nor the club it's 20p share of the £110).

What worries me is, being a Yorkshireman, is the potential of wasting the £110 because either the VPN is too slow to stream properly or for some reason it doesn't work via VPN.

I'd let somone else find out first. You'd need quite a fast connection to watch via VPN anyway as it literally halves your internet speed

Should be OK with a decent VPN. I use Nord VPN and the speed only drops by about 10%. Of course, it will change depending where you log into - I usually use a US server.

Hopefully, it will be great - I don't know if the streams will have commentaries or not, has anybody heard?

Yes they will, I think. I'm just wondering if it will the the R Sheff mob with Keef.

I got an email from iFollow when the transition happened saying that you won't be charged during the off season as there won't be any games to stream or content uploaded, i'm just waiting for my £5 a month to start leaving my account again, unless this is going up?

I emailed iFollow asking if I can still access live games when travelling around various places if my 'home' location was Italy but my credit card was a UK card... First of all they quoted back the T&Cs which didn't answer the question. I wrote back and they replied with this:

"Greetings,

Yes, if you purchase in Italy you will have access in all locations.

Please keep in mind that if you are visiting the UK or Ireland you will only receive live audio in these areas due to live video blackout restrictions.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Best Regards,

EFL iFollow Support"

Juat been planning which away games I will be able to get to in first couple of months of the season and noticed anything that isn't on sky is available live on ifollow to "international" users. I say "international" as surely anyone vaguely familiar with VPNs and/or Proxies will now be able to watch all our games free of charge? Have the football league not just shot themselves in the foot making all games streamable and denying clubs ticket revenue. As much it pains me to say it I will certainly be less inclined to rush to games such as Cardiff away on tuesday night after work if I can watch it at home free of charge. As it stands unless we are on Sky or another "proper" tv channel it's virtually impossible to find live streams but to me this I follow looks so open to abuse it's untrue. Is anyone aware of anything stopping the above as it could be a real danger for clubs attendances and I say that as someone who tries to get to at least 3/4 of United matches in a season. Or is this just the way football is heading where it's all about commercial appeal in Asia and the US rather than fans in the ground ?

How much does van cost and how much does iFollow cost?

I don't see how this is a problem helps thr access for most fans who can't afford to get to away matches , plus will most people be able to work around the International access ?

I just don't see how matches being shown live on the internet or TV have a massive effect on attendances.

People will always attend matches for the live experience which TV can't replicate. Matches have been shown on TV for decades but it hasn't ever stopped fans from traveling.

The Premier League has been televised, hugely, for years. Attendances are fine. Fear not, it'll be Reet.

Also, I wouldn't be too sure about the Free bit. If you want the official iFollow stream it's €140 a year - You'd need to subscribe from behind a VPN so would be funneled into the higher cost bracket. And if you are on about getting it 'Free' then you'll be getting is via a shady IPTV system, which will have been MUCH more heavily used to watch Premier games and as I say, attendances are fine.

No blades ifollow streams will be on dodgy sites. Servers would have to subscribe to every club to please everyone not to mention the shitload of extra bandwidth required. Also i fully expect that your membership number will be randomly shown on the screen like sky do.That way they know who's doing the stream and close their accounts. I can confirm that ifollow has already been hacked and you can get the whole season for £70.

Yeah especially at 3pm on a Saturday, i want to be out of the house.

My mum and aunties though, as soon as the weather turns, no longer want to go and will sit and listen at home instead. They'd pay extra to watch on TV or online.

If the premier league and football league want to increase attendances, stop showing games on Sundays, early or late on a Sat and friday nights.

I think TV channels need to be showing games at 3pm on a saturday as moving games constantly is annoying

I think all Sky games get picked up by ESPN or Fox in North America.

Err.. not Championship or at least not last season. You may need BEIN Sport. There will be loads of streams too, and I think you can pay to get BEIN online.

I had a Roku box in the States and subscribed to one of the IPTV channels for $20 a month, that included Sky. It seems to have been taken offline now though so I'm looking for an alternative.

I'll probably pay on a game-by-game basis for the iFollow games, if that is possible.
