Casting the Device to an Android TV / Chromecast is one option.

A mini USB to HDMI is another

accessing the webpage from a TV either through a built in browser or an xbox / ps4
Are the games available through the browser? It looks different from the mobile app - no countdown to the next game, for example.

Hi All, hoping some fellow blades might be able to offer me some advice and help. I'm a season ticket holder currently on holiday in Spain, we don't get back until after the Brentford game and I was hoping I'd be able to watch the game via the new ifollow service.

I've got an iPad and an iPhone, but neither give me an option to register, when I go to that page I'm asked to choose my package, but there is nothing to choose from. It's the same if u do it through the app or browser.

Please could someone point me in the right direction.

Also is it confirmed that I could just pay to watch the one game on Saturday. I won't need the service again this season.

Thanks for your help in advance.

So you can buy games on a match by match basis, 5 euro for the game, which works well for season ticket holders that only need to watch away matches, it may work out more expensive, though.

Thanks for your help, the price seems good. I'm still struggling to register, has anyone done this on a tablet or iPhone, or does it need doing on a desktop?

Once again, thanks in advance.

You might struggle doing it in the UK as it'll be IP-region-locked, and iFollow don't have UK broadcast rights.

The people that have managed it seem to have done it via a VPN - which is what a "friend of mine" will be doing to watch the away games that "he" won't be attending this season...

Looks like it. Just been on site and it gives the option of 130 Euros or 6 Euros per game. I am using a PC at the moment, not tried on Ipad or Android phone. I was using a VPN as I'm in the UK.

What VPN out of curiosity? I wonder if you can use VPN to sign up then use normal connection to stream?

I tried to pay for the match pass before i go the whole hog, it was displayed but without the subscription option. The season pass was available though. I would like to have tried before buying. I remember the old days (actually not that long ago) with BP and it was awful !!!

Missus got me the full season pass as an early birthday present. See how we go.

I assume that there will be a commentator for the games (unlike the silent full game replays previously on B/Player) - can anyone confirm?

Anyone know who it will be? (presumably not Keith although that would be nice)

Maybe if the commentary's no good I'll just try and sync 2 laptops so one has iFollow video and the other Radio Sheffield local commentary.... (easier said than done....)

Can't wait for Satdee

We're on the march......

Its club dependent on the commentary front, so we wont know until tomorrow....

I heard the same thing but havent seen it confirmed anywhere "officially" but would be more than happy with that. Gage was always a good listen when on Radio Sheffield, much better than Keef.
He tweeted it himself, probably posted somewhere in this thread.

I found these couple of links whilst looking up some info about ifollow, they're useful if anyone still has queries!

I was disappointed to learn we won't be able to watch any old championship match - wouldn't have minded watching the Friday night games, but alas not.

Also, beIN sports are NOT showing any football league games this weekend in any country. I wonder if they have lost the rights. If they have, this is good news (for me and anyone else in Australia at least) as it means all the games will be on iFollow and none will be blacked out.
In the USA it looks like ESPN still has some of the rights for EFL.

livesoccertv.com lists just about every match and what channel it is on (if any).

Considering i-follow will be available worldwide. What exactly is stopping someone subscribing and streaming all the games out on his own channel?

Many of the old streaming sites used to do exactly this.

I'll still pay it as £110 for 23 away games alone (plus cup i presume) it well worth the money.

This is the list of international partners for the "EFL"

https://www.efl.com/iFollow/international-broadcasters/

For the Arab countries, beIN sports have the rights - if you look at their schedule they have the Fulham v Norwich game as available on channel 11 (English) from 3 pm.

My understanding was it was only blacked out if it is being shown on TV in the country you are watching in. If no one else owns the rights to broadcast it in a australia then australian iFollowers should still be able to watch. Guess we'll find out next week!

I dont think so. Spain isnt on the list but they still told me the games will be blacked out :(

Nooooo.

This means it will be impossible to legitimately watch these games in a country without an official broadcaster?!

Question.

I have a blades mate who lives abroad and has bought the ifollow season ticket to watch the games live.

If he gives me his login details will I be able to watch at the same time as him (via VPN). Sounds a daft question but more than one login at a time was possible for previous seasons using bladesplayer i.e. to listen to the match? or if I logged in while he was logged in would it just cut him off.

the game is only blacked out for you if an official tv station in your country is showing the game live, other than that all games are available to watch

This will happen...
