If you had missed the whole of this season...?

Was watching the film 'Cast Away' the other day, a film about a guy who got stuck on a desert island for several years before being rescued and eventually returns home.

Of course if the same happened to you, there would be many other considerations before you would wonder what had happened to the Blades during all of that time, but when you did how would you 'catch up'? As for club news off the pitch, where would you get all your information from?

A)Look at the current league table straight away?
B) Sit in a darkened room for a few weeks watching highlights of every single game you've missed, or even the full match?
C) Just glance at each score/match report one by one?

Its a bit of a ridiculous question I know but I'd go with 'B' xd

UTB!

Cheers for spoiling Castaway for me.

I only saw the end of that film ,couldn't work out how someone could get so upset about a football drowning

Depends on how I was rescued etc but basically I'd want to inform my family and then find out what the Blades were up to. So I'd get online somehow (assuming I was rescued by people who knew nowt about football and couldn't answer my question), go on the BBC website and go through the leagues until I found us.

Then, I'd come on here, if it was still going, and ask for a brief update, or alternatively just click on one of the bumped threads that are always on the front page and work it out.

The question for me is, if I'd just been stuck on an island for the last four years with only a football called Danny Wilson for company, which league would I check first, L1, L2, Championship or PL?

I like the bit in Castaway where that crocodile comes and tries to bite the guy's leg off so he has to climb a coconut tree to get away and then he drops a nut on the croc's head and kills him and then he decides to eat the croc for tea and when he opens him up he finds some long lost treasure inside his stomach and then he inflates the croc's bladder using his own trumps and makes a dinghy and tries to sail away on it but then those sharks turn up and he has to paddle back again using cucumbers as oars so his arms don't get bitten off.

Best part of the film by miles.

I almost angrily replied about that not bloody happening in the film whatcheronabaht then I figured out what you were doing

That situation will probably be similar to that of a number of our fans attending the last 3 home games....

"So who's that little number 4 in midfield then?"
Did well to crowbar that latest episode of fan criticism in there

Sixth Sense - Bruce Willis is dead .

Shit film so ive saved you some time .

Jacobs Ladder - vastly superior - Tim Robbins is dead too :p
