Let’s assume we only beat Ipswich 1-0 then Leeds beat Villa 1-0 or 2-1.
They’ve then got to overcome a 11 goal swing.

Will you be still worrying that we might lose to Stoke by 4 goals (a Stoke side that struggle to score and remember we are the kings of keeping clean sheets) and Leeds can beat Ipswich by 7 goals?

Remember it’s not mathematical so if we lose by 1 goal to Stoke (which is realistically possible), then in theory I suppose Leeds could win 10-0. The above scenario would be probably at least 10,000 to 1, those odds are good enough for me to celebrate prematurely.

I’m so relieved that our goal difference is so much better than Leeds because if it was close then you could imagine us losing 1-0 at Stoke, then Leeds winning 4 or 5-0 away at Ipswich. It would go into our long list of near misses and unlucky failures.
