That disallowed Burrows goal in the 2025 play off final is turning out to be the biggest Sliding Doors moment in history
Agreed but at the same time like another poster put elsewhere, if it weren't for hecky's promotion, we'd be in similar position to the pigs nowI did say at the time of the take over be careful what you wish for.
Good that they clarified legal avenue. Imagine if they had started trying to hold a player for ransom money....The statement added that "United World will continue to pursue the full sums owed through every legal avenue available".
I've heard the dark side have 10 going spareWould this be a good time for us to stock up on tennis balls?
The EFL are already on it. It has been pointed out that to impose a 12 point deduction for failure to pay United's ex owner is inconsistent with imposing a zero points deduction on Wednesday's ex owner. To make this fair they will now impose the 15 point deduction and add it onto the 12 points so United will receive a 27 point deduction in total. All penalties will have been applied so everything is now fair. For that, you'll need some help.
I wonder what Betts and Blunkett are up to? And where's Louise Haigh when you need her
Our administration will be better than the pigs, bet we can get a rest points deduction where they failed to get one. Then every game from now until the end of the season is absolutely vital. We need the support at BL and away from home. We need to sing our hearts out at the matches and make Bramall Lane the intimidating place for the opposition when it first was when I was growing up and understanding football. If there’s anyone that can get us to survive with -12 lumped on us, it’d either be Warnock or Wilder and luckily for us Wilder is our man. Although I’d rather not be in this position in the first place and if there’s a positive to take out of all this, we WILL have something to fight for and that is survival and an accomplishment is there for us to achieve at the end of the season that I believe has not been done by any other team in the championship?
I'm not yet ready to be us against the world stuff to be honest. Then every game from now until the end of the season is absolutely vital. We need the support at BL and away from home. Blades fans are what it says on the tin if we get battered at home weekly loads will walk as they usually do , remember shoes off in the car park we werent pl then eitherOkay so,
Many people have their different interpretations of positivity and my guess is that you are not a very positive person.
Yes getting behind the blades? Is that not what we are supposed to do as a group of loyal fans? And yes the grounds did empty after the 70th min, but we were in the Premier League with a very weak side. Are we in the premier league right now? No we are not. Do we have a weak side? It’s weaker than last season but not we’re definitely not whipping boys.
How do you know we won’t have a 12 point deduction, Are you a fortune teller? The thread also gives you a massive clue, it’s “IF”. Did you read that part?

My positivity is irrelevant
The suggested 12 point deduction isnt set in stone wendy got 15 repaid
It might be implemented but they will go to sports court ,that i beleive would be turned over
Does that not make me positive ?

The point is, though, that Betts' and Blunkett's interference was supposedly not due to their both being Owls fans, but rather because Wednesday was deemed - in their eyes - as being a community asset.
Thus, in Betts' case he was intervening to protect his constituents' interests. Ditto Louise Haigh, whose constituency is Heeley, of all places.
As with Wednesday, so with United. What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.
If you believe that I've got a bridge to sell you.
