That squad needs strengthening for sure, but, it's still better than most even at this stage.

I suppose with a couple of right backs I'll be more confident, but we're dodgy up front and lightweight in midfield.

Personally think we still need:
- 1 cb (despite Kennedy pushing)
- 2 rb
- 1 rw
- 1 lw
- 1 cm
- 1 cf

Ultimately it may depend on how ready the fringe and younger players are to make the step up.

Yeh really. I agree the squad needs strengthening. I still think it's better than most in League 1.

If that is all we have we will struggle. I think we will be starting with Porter up front rather than Creswell who really by now should only be used as a sub. While it is OK to feed a couple of youngsters into a team relying on six or so all to step up is a big ask and a risk. Looks lightweight to me in all areas, Monty as RB and Williams at LB any half decent team will rip that back four a new arsehole.

Still time to fill up the 1st team. If Willo and KMac sign up(i know,a IF) our midfield still looks strong with the liklihood of having to replace Quinn if he goes.

The defence looks thin on the ground so that is a concern and we need another forward. Not doom and gloom and certainly not far off a promotion chasing team

If the season started today then I would be totally underwhelmed. Wouldn't have a clue on the starting XI, but whatever it would be from the players available then it would look what it is, a third division football team.

No idea what Cofie will be like, hoping against hope that he'll be good but looking at the current squad we're still 4 or 5 players from being better than average. We aint going to get 4 or 5 half decent players in so yep, what a fucking brahmer of a season this looks like being.
