True that Segers was a cheating bent twat of the highest order, and was a huge part of us getting relegated in 1994 as he was literally diving out of the way of Evertons shots that day and they were a piss poor side and were only going to get out of it by some sort of underhand dealing.

That said, the Fashanu 'playing basketball in his own penalty area' game had nothing to do with us getting relegated. Fashanu was trying to throw the game between us in March 91, we got relegated in 94. I was at both games at Plough Lane and Stamford Bridge and there was a few years gap between.

What really irks about the Segers throwing the game event, was that we had him on loan for 3 months in the 80s and the Blades fans really took to him and used to chant his name before and after every game he played for us. He lapped it up and played to the crowd in front of the Kop. Little did we know then that he was a spineless corrupt cheating twat of the highest order with no morals and didn't give a shiny fuk about anything but his bank balance. I know it's all water under the bridge now, and all have moved on, but.... I still wouldn't piss on the man if he was on fire.

The bottom six don’t want to finish the season off , they’re going to use any excuse , why would they want to lose 100 million, I’ve got a feeling this season is over.
The problem is are we going to have an extra 2 or 3 teams in the premier league next season because if we don’t accept this Leeds West Brom and a nother will be going to court.
If next season they try and relegate 5 teams there’s going to be trouble, it’s a right mess
