Idiotic Blades fans

Paddy Kenny was in the Bramall Lane upper tier concourse at half time.
It was particularly strange for me because my seat was in the Westfield Corner stand and I must have used a different staircase to go for a piss and ended up in a totally different stand.

I get your point. Not all the fans at Bramall Lane today were able to be at Northampton, so maybe it is a delayed celebration for the ones that have the chance today.

But why the need to run on a bit of grass? Just stay in yet seat and applaud the players and staff..Hopefully it's out of all the idiots heads before cheesy match..We can hopefully see the trophy handed out without super groovy Gary Sinclair getting frustrated and asking people to get off the as per the clubs regulations...

What about the beamback pitch invasion? Can we expect a points deduction for that?

Jeez, is English your second language or are you from low edges?..Maybe your deliberately dense or get up early and practice..Or is someone else in the family using the Braincell this week.do I have to do a picture to explain it for you??

:D 'kin ell....Chill out! You appeared to state that people should only invade the pitch if the game matters. So, yes please can I have a pictorial explanation of when a game does or doesn't matter. Did you know today was our 28th league win of the season. The most in our history.
I thought it mattered.

That I could not answer, but you've done it, I've done it, many who post on here have possibly also in the past done it. It is frustrating for the club, especially if they requested fans to stay off the pitch, but looking at the scenes at some other clubs to day, it is not just Bramall Lane having the pitch invaded

Can't believe what I'm Reading if they get banned they get banned !they're fault you not.going to stop them.Personally not for me running on.today but each to their own did it spoil.your day or something wasn't like it was halfway through game it's a bank holiday Monday we won 3_0 we champions played terrific football and u whining that some people had orddasity to run on the pitch for a few minutes grab a beer embrace and enjoy this time and get off your high horse we still champions the last time I looked ☺utb ftp

But the other clubs today have a today reason..Not a week ago reason..I just find it increasingly frustrating that a pitch invasion a week later is acceptable .I know what lets have one at stocksbridge steel when we beat them in preseason...

Tend to agree regards the pitch invasion today. Totally understandable at Northampton, and if we had needed a win today for the title I'd have got a spontaneous invasion.

Instead we got a bit of a chavvy element on the pitch when the overwhelming majority of the crowd just wanted to salute the players and staff.

As for just kids it wasn't. The woman with the extremely fat arse who went straight to goad the Bradford fans with her Goldie Looking Chain boyfriend, was fucking cringeworthy and I hope to God Sky didn't show them.

Mostly it was kids on the pitch. They all went off when told to and nobody came back on when the players came back out.

This may be once in their lifetimes that we win something - I've been going 46 years and it's only my second.

These are the days for them to remember, and to make them keep coming back when we have just lost 3-0 at home on a freezing Tuesday night in January!

Well actually some of the lads I went to Northampton with, their kids didn't go and never got that moment and wanted on the pitch. It made their day

So what. Northampton is the only away game I've missed for a good while. There's no way I'd have let my 11 year old run on today. That's not self righteous indignation, just basic etiquette under the circumstances. A quick gander of most on the pitch at the end said it all for me.

Sorry what is the etiquette the first game back at home after being crowned champions? Making much a do about nothing here

Boooooooooooo..... Fucking pathetic.

What got me was the booing as they were making their way off the pitch...... only for it to turn into applause 3 seconds later when they were..... making their way off the pitch.

Those going on the pitch were probably expecting a bigger invasion. But regardless, it's a few fans enjoying some rare success. And what harm was it going to do? Cause a few minutes delay?

I didn't go on the pitch, I didn't really want or expect a pitch invasion, but some of our MOBs ("Miserable Old Bastards") need to get a fucking grip and relax.

I'm not making a do about anything. I'm simply passing comment.

I'm not making an official complaint or acting outraged, however much some suggest.

I'm simply stating that imho the pitch invasion today was a bit cringeworthy. To put it into perspective I didn't think it was at all at Northampton.

Maybe some of you also need to relax and realise a few making observations aren't full of righteous indignation, and are just passing comment.

Watching a fat bird and her stoned looking Manc wannabee boyfriend trying to give it large in front of the away end was fucking laughable. If that had been at the Sty and shown on TV, we'd have been all over it.

Yeah, not excusing that, didn't see it but absolutely pathetic behaviour if so. Totally unnecessary but you'll always get the odd retard.

The vast majority only went on to celebrate and make the most of a rare opportunity to get close to the players. Booing them for doing that in such circumstances is totally pathetic, but it's what we seem to do.

Unfortunately they do. Even on family stand. Kop it's more prevalent and even the dears on the south stand have their moments. Though south stand is more negro and mulatto...

I am a happy bunny apart from those utter cretins who ran out on to the pitch at the end.. use the TV pictures and ban them...Utter cunts.

Put ya tampon back in

The chavvy pitch invaders also left a load of litter on the hallowed turf the scratty beggars. Have some respect to the club and your players people.

I remember in the late 90s / early 2000s when it used to be an end of season tradition to run on the pitch on the last home match of the season even if we had nothing to celebrate.

The thing is, times change and running on the pitch shouldn't be done because of any old excuse.

Now getting promoted and winning the league is worthy of a pitch invasion but not days after it has been achieved. Are we going to have another couple of pitch invasion to celebrate again?

Finally, why did we have a lap of honour today when the trophy presentation isn't until after the Chesterfield match? I assume that was for the benefit of the Sky cameras?

Whatever went off today, however it happened enjoy it.

Could be years before you can again.
