Idiotic Blades fans

Thought it was getting a bit too excitable yesterday. The fire cracker going off summed it up. My youngest lad got fed up with not being able to see well and ended up asleep, missing Billy's goal. Not helped by the fans at the front goading the home fans after Duffy got fouled prior to the second goal.
Good to see that people are backing the lad with ASC. Hopefully the lad is ok and can enjoy his football, hopefully the idiots are weeded out and get banned. My Asperger lad doesn't get rattled often, it is the rules that wind him up, i.e.: stewards doing body checks at Old Trafford (not helped by having parents involved in Safeguarding), which thankfully didn't happen yesterday.

Smoke bombs give off noxious fumes, and flares burn at 1600 degrees C (the melting point of steel)
..the oafs ignite these, but when the police/stewards move in,they lob em
so they don't get caught, and don't give a fuck where they land
factor in the booze and other substances,it ain't great is it..
hope no lasting damage on the little lad

I think its about time the ticket office asked if your with family(children /older folk) when issuing tickets for games really.
If they split supporters down the middle so it segregated the lads out on the lash from the general blades supporters it would be alot better.
I understand that sometimes we go to the match with the lads and some beers are partaken in, but some of the behaviour of the younger lads seems to be totally stupid and unacceptable lately.
I'm a blade who is on both sides of this, sometimes I go with the boy, sometimes with my mates, theres a difference in how you behave on eather occasion, but never should you act like a stupid brainless prick!
Hope the lad forgets about it and is back in his red n white next week, all the best to him and his family! and that the dicks get their comupence!

Being in League One seems to have bred these jumped up young fuckwits.

They think because they're part of big followings going to small grounds they can do what they like.

If they put as much effort into supporting the team as they do causing bollocks they'd actually be useful. But they don't really care about United, they just use it as a vehicle to act like cunts and feel big for once in their pathetic existence.

Christ knows what makes them do it. Is drugs and alcohol really enough? I think it must be a combination of those, personal issues, group culture and mental impairment. For a start.

I hope the boy injured in this incident recovers quickly - also I hope the idiot who caused the injury knows what he has done and spends the next few nights sleeplessly waiting for an early morning knock at his door.

I'm getting a bit fed up of moronic behaviour at away games.

We had the mindless pitch invasion at Peterborough during which a steward was allegedly knocked to the ground.

At Bristol Rovers a young woman insisted on standing in the seated area when she could just as easily have stood on the terrace. On being asked to sit down she stated that she wanted to stand and would do what she wanted! She then spent a good portion of the first half looking at her phone, went out to get a pie, returned and then at half time left her place and didn't come back for the second half.

Earlier this season ( I can't remember where) three well oiled individuals, jumping up and down in celebration on the row in front, fell backwards and pushed me back over my seat on to the chap standing behind me.

At Scunthorpe I was on the end of the row and when we scored a mob ran down the stairs and knocked me forwards into the back of the chap in front.

No harm done in the latter incidents as I am a fit 63 year old, but I have artificial hip joints and I don't really want to be knocked around too much.

I love the atmosphere of away games, but the moronic, self indulgent and at times dangerous behaviour of these people is beginning to wear a bit thin at times

They are usually dictated to by the home side/venue as to the order they have to be sold in.

Never understood why people who sneak flares in are such pussies with them.
Sneak it in, set it off, then you fucking hold it in the air you daft twats.

It annoys me that with high numbers of Police and Stewards present at each match nowadays that they cannot (or will not) apprehend the idiots that do the stupid things. There are also plenty of people at the games armed with a camera phone who can record the incidents and culprits. They should provide the evidence to the Police and clubs so they can get a deserved LIFE TIME BAN. Not post it on You Tube.

Football needs to get rid of this disease

There seems to be a real difference between Saturday and midweek away fans. I noticed at Bristol how much more enjoyable it was without the lagered up lads goading stewards all game and trying to get on the pitch after a goal.
Hopefully Oxford and Swindon will be similar. What is it with fans trying to get on the pitch now? I thought it was a lifetime ban but it can't be, otherwise with 4 or 5 ejections every game we'd be finding tickets a lot easier to come by.

This wouldn't have worked yesterday. We were towards the left hand end of the stand, and our tickets were next to a gangway. At the start of the second half there was a mass influx of dickheads who had obviously moved just so they could go on the pitch if we scored. They were stood in the gangways and all along the front. Stewards did nothing about it. I knew the pitch invasion would come if we scored, unfortunately.

Somebody must know who this areshole is. Get him/her grassed up and banned for life.

Yeah I understand that, I meant, it's about time they started asking and trying to accommodate all fan types.
If it's the away stand, surely, with the amount of support we take, they would have an idea of the area of seating granted, and then they should be allowed to fill it accordingly and segregate the groups.
If you get what I'm trying to get at??

Totally understand and this then becomes an issue for Rochdale, they are legally obliged to provide a safe venue/atmosphere(if that's the correct word) for all fans, they should've dealt with the situation accordingly, even if the idiots ended up in the carpark!!

Sorry if this is in the wrong place but our fans 99% of the time have been outstanding this season, we're all aware of the very small minority of idiots but today topped that. Whoever threw the firework/banger/firecracker that exploded in the face of my friends autistic child today wants locking up. What is the thought process of taking such items into a stadium, there will be physical scars (very close to his eyes) and I'm sure he'll get over that but getting over the mental scars for an autistic child after such an incident is questionable, he moved seats and got the medical attention required but overall ashamed today of being associated (by supporting the same club only!) with the idiot(s) today. I hope he continues to attend games but would understand his parents not wanting him to attend again.
Scum of so

Did the same at a pub in crewe last year or year before.Snorting coke in the bogs and down the street. Then someone let a firecracker or 2 off in the porch of the pub.Absolute bell ends.Flares dont bother me,but they do when things like this happen. The pricks think they r above the law.No fucking thought 4 anyone.Worrying thing is the wankers still have port vale away to go.

I mean they should be smart enough and capable enough to throw things where the well being of fellow supporters isn't going to be threatened.

You don't throw something from the back of the stand knowing full well it's going to land within your own supporters. But some of our stupid yobbish cunts seem to think it's acceptable.

Pyrotechnics are a wonderful addition to a football match in the rest of Europe.

Unfortunately they are dangerous in the hands of the Engerlish because a large proportion are a bunch of subhuman fuckwits.

Stick to lobbing plastic chairs.

The more you allow it anywhere the more likely that Twats are going to do something stupid.

Hope the lad's ok.

I've just posted about yobbish Blades taking the gloss off my day in Roy's view from thread

These idiots needs rooting out by any method.

I remember Linz recently suggesting drug and pyrotechnics sniffer dogs and I think that would a bloody good start to address the problem at home and away.

These pillocks are a stain on our club.

Could nt agree more Ricky. My thoughts entirely. The highlighted sentences are perfect for what these fans are all about

Will reiterate what the others have said dronny_blade - do pass on our best wishes.

I've taken temporary retirement from away games. At (quite obviously) 7 months pregnant, I can't cope with pissed up blokes shoving me and diving over chairs to land on me when we score. I can't cope with standing up for 90 minutes despite requesting tickets near the front... Or specifying seated tickets where, even when there's an option to stand elsewhere, people insist on standing up. No one appears to give two shits about anyone else's safety or comfort and as it can't be guaranteed while we have such fuckwits in the crowd, I'll just have to stop going.

Look at all the anger when a Bolton fan attacked a Blade. Some fucking idiots in our own fanbase are doing the same, to their own!

One such twentysomething 'fucking idiot' fuckwit was standing in the front gangway, I was right on the front on row A. A fellow blade, Shaun, who I believe to be a regular caller to RS asked him to move and then asked if he had a ticket? meaning should nt the fuckwit be in his ticketed place. The fuckwits response being 'course ive got a fuckin ticket! I come to every game home and away me!'
I think he thought this entitled him to stand where he liked and do what he liked. There is a very good line from Game Of Thrones that came to my mind, 'Theres no cure for being a cunt!'
Shaun gave him some further choice words and the fuckwit did move slightly further along. Blocking some one else s view however.

I think a line has to be drawn between pissed and having a good time and inhibiting your senses to the degree that you become a self-centered arsehole who is a danger to themselves and everyone around them.

All we'll end up with is travel restrictions and breathalyser tests becoming compulsory, which will be a complete pain in the arse for the majority who can enjoy a drink without turning into a complete fucking idiot.

The arseholes will be the first and loudest to complain when the "pig coppers" are banning them from town centres.

Perhaps this idiot is the same person that threw a cup of coffee/bovril down the kop during the Bolton game soaking one of our own fans. Cnut

Hope the little lad recovers and is ok awful thing to happen.

Feel for those that go to matches that suffer from anxiety/panic attacks and people set them bangers off they are enough to trigger things off.

Being in the similar age bracket to most of the idiots that use pyro, I know why they do what they do. It's all for social media reputation, they go to away games as a group, clearly funded by the bank of mum and dad, dressed in Stone Island etc. They'll get a picture of them all together probably pre match, once in ground they'll be amongst the madness in concourse, making sure they get a few videos. Of course then if a goal is scored, maybe even when one hasn't, they'll set a pyro off, lob it straight away so they aren't caught, then they'll have phones at the ready to get a good picture. They don't give a shit about who's around them or where it lands, but it doesn't matter cos they'll get a few likes on Instagram/twitter and be talk of the school the following Monday. It's all geared towards how they represent themselves on social media, they don't care about the football but use it as an excuse to behave how they want.

Personally had a few bad experiences with these bellends. Scunny away 2015, group of 6/7 on row behind, set a pyro off left it at my granddads feet, once confronted they shit themselves and barely said a word for rest of the game. Man Utd away also similar, large group row behind, with 2/3 crammed to one seat, kept pushing each other all game for a laugh, but we kept getting whacked by them on the row in front. Confronted again, piped down again. Older Blades need to teach them a lesson, funnily enough it's the only thing they're scared, not the police.

Poor behaviour by those involved. I hope they're caught and punished accordingly. There's no need for it at all. I always thought us Blades fans stuck together, but some of the teens that go seem intent on being the 'top boy', rather than thinking about things collectively.

I suspect many will be put in their place when we go up and start playing 'the big boys'. I imagine many will stop being so mouthy when we have Leeds, Cardiff etc. and this hard man attitude fades in to the horizon.

My mate standing next to me got hit on the head by a bottle thrown by a 'Blades Fan' whoever threw it from the back of the kop didn't give it enough height as it didn't make it to the pitch, luckily my mate only suffered a massive bump on his head and a headache

I got hit in the face with a bottle of brown sauce at one away game, wasn't funny at the time but I do chuckle about it now. It was during the mad ten minutes these youths seem to have at half time.

It's a shame really that they go mad in the concourse but then we go out for the second half and it's silent no singing or atmosphere yet 5 minutes previous they were bouncing around singing and acting the goat. Like someone said above it's not about supporting the team or creating an atmosphere anymore it's about how they look on social media.

I appreciate the madness that ensues following an important last minute goal, Fulham away in the cup lads broke limbs flying over seats, a few years ago Ched scored at Scunny and as I jumped someone behind me bumped into me and I went flying down the steps, ended up battered and bruised about 7 rows down from where I started and I loved every minute of it. In the heat of the moment it was great but looking back if I'd have landed on a child or an elderly person I could've caused them a serious injury.

Not saying it's right but personally I wouldn't take my little ones to an away game, at least at home I can sit in the family stand away from home you could end up sat next to anyone. Fans taking drugs out in the open, using awful language, pushing, fighting and aggression not gunna put my kids through that.

"Self centred arsehole". That's what Charlie does to folk. Combine it with those who are young, male and desperate to be noticed, and you have the perfect recipe for a prize winning twat.

Social media approval as a driving force?? No, no I won't believe that for a second....

How old are they generally? I have most of them down as late teens/early 20s.... and all of them down as missing a great number of brain cells.
