I don't mind saying it... Everybody's fickle round here.

If we had lost 3-1on Saturday I would still want Clough to remain. He's building something good here. Some say he doesn't look very far and only signs players from Derby or who used to play at Derby. Is that not testament to the guy that so many players want to play for him?

Brayford has now played under him 4 times - Burton. Derby. Blades and Blades. Add to that list Freeman 3 times. Davies, Coutts and McEveley. Have I missed anyone?

Also been heavily linked with Steve Davies and Mason Bennett. Yes he brings in players he's worked with before but, they must want to play for him.
yes as i have said before clough is building a club not just a team and patience is required even if we fail this season he is building an awsome squad which will serve us well in the future .Most of the players he is bringing in will perform well in the championship

Agree with all that. He just needs to keep everyone on board by proving he can get his team to boss games, especially at home.

As for the rest of it - I'm sold. It's the antithesis of what brought us to this low in our history.

Don't think anybody is intent on driving him out. It's just the frustration of his tactics, team selections and apparent philosophy of just don't lose, keep the ball play backward and don't put bodies in the area.

From the highlights I've seen of last night when we got in their last 1/3rd we were throwing 4/5 players into the box, maybe that's because we've got Done but that's what I wanna see not negative avoidance tactics then we'll all be happy.

Just watch, if we lose tomorrow the board will go back into meltdown, why cause we've shown there is no reason why we shouldn't take another 45 points from our remaining game.

Even if we didn't go up ( which we will ) , Mr Clough is here to stay . Pissed off with the managers merry go round . We would only get a manager being sacked from another club . There is no one as good , out there , at this moment in time . If the ethos of the club had not changed , we would be looking at the Phil Browns of this world. His football philosophy seems to be working ( at last ).

Patience is a virtue , something i don't have , but you know when things are right , and / or going in the right direction. Call us Derby United , so what ,.

There are some who thrive on us not being 2 points ahead of bristol now . It feeds their told you so attitude.a bit like owls fans only argument ,they are in a league above us .something we cant change till May.so its a smug retort .one we shall pleasure in ramming down their throats on it changing. Id always prefer a positive attitude that realises we are progressing .we dont rely at all on loans .something thats caused us a lot of grief. It is this that I am most pleased about. We control our own destiny now.

The board won't go into meltdown - certain posters will go into meltdown.

The majority hold a reasoned view - a small number do not........and it's nearly always the same - you can set you clock by some of them.
