......absolutely outplaying Wycombe away but losing to a Stuart Bevon goal. We told ourselves this was a small blip and it wouldn't last long.

.....countless trips to Stevenage. In the pissing down rain, shit ground, shit place, never seem to win there.

.....fun trips to crawley. Cracking boozers, piss poor ground, but winning. Who can forget McMahon!?

.....Going down to Exeter in hope but drawing knowing we were not going to get promotion. Singing "que sera sera we're going to shrewsbury" at the end

....Non-descript trips to Colchester. Shit ground. Shit atmosphere. Christ, have we really sunk this low?

....Drinking on a boat on a canal before peterbro

....Leyton Orient - lovely micro brewery in the shopping centre. I'll miss that. Little club, never minded going there to be honest.

...Millions of trips to Swindon producing thousands of goals. Except dipping work early to watch a 0-0 draw on a Tuesday night & having to pay twice cos my mate Olle (yes THE olle) fucked up. £50 to watch a 0-0 draw. Jeez. My most visited away ground. I reckon I could walk there with my eyes shut. But the boozer - the mustard pot? - near the station is worth the trip

....Southend by the sea. Jeez. Turn around as quick as you can.

The 4-0 defeat at Stevenge has to be the worst moment of the lot, although there has been a few that run it close. crewe away under clough, Carlisle and Rotherham under Wier and the Yeovil no show in the playoff semis were pretty bad low points

Good post this brought back some good, and not so good, memories. It's definitely been emotional.

The next 3 away games will go down in living memory for the right reasons. Thanks to Wilder & Knill for doing what others failed to do. Let enjoy the party over the next few weeks.
